Grace Theios opened our doors on October 1 st , 2018. It was founded by Igor Gonzalez and developed by both Igor Gonzalez and Elizabeth Parks. The company consists of a family who are highly trained to go the extra mile for its clients while meeting the state training requirements. We currently hold three office locations located in Joplin, Carthage, and Springfield, Missouri. We serve the following counties in Missouri: Barry, Barton, Bates, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Green, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, and Stone.
Our Mission:
Grace Theios is more than a home care agency. We are a team of individuals that all came
together with the sole purpose of providing quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities, children, and to seniors. For us, the quality of care is directly related to the professionalism, skills, and education of the staff that serve each person. This is one of the most important elements that we focus on when we hire staff. We believe that each staff should walk the extra mile for the person that they serve, therefore, we lead by example and give tools, experience, and love to our management and staff, and by doing so, we create a family.
Service Options:
Grace Theios currently holds two different contracts with the state of Missouri. The first contract is with the Department of Mental Health. This contract allows us to assist individuals with developmental disabilities by offering personal care assistance, individualized skill development, in-home respite, and community integration.
The second contract is with the Department of Health and Senior Services. This contract allows us to assist individuals, that have an approved waiver, with personal care assistance such as activities of daily living.
Grace Theios is also committed to providing services throughout our community. We offer private pay options to those individuals that do not currently have a waiver, but need support or assistance in their home. We are also starting a child learning center in the summer of 2020. The learning center will focus on any and all preschoolers who would like to get a jump start on their education.
General Program Information:

If you have a waiver through the Department of Mental Health or with the Department of Health and Senior Services, you will be involved in creating your own Individualized Support Plan (ISP). When developing the ISP, your planning team which consists of you, your family member, a staff member of Grace Theios, and your case manager if you have one. If you have a case manager, they will write your ISP, if not, we will, and either way, staff will be responsible for upholding the services that are inside it. We always value your input about the services that you are receiving and use that information to decide what programs and services that we can provide to you. Active involvement in developing your plan, progress reviews, and evaluation of our services are encouraged.
If you are a parent of a preschooler and are interested in the child care learning center, please give us a call. We are now accepting applications for our wait-list.
