After a period of conducting group tours internationally, Mrs. Callier pursued her graduate degree in occupational therapy at St. Following her internships at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Missouri Baptist Medical Center, she spent three years working in acute care rehabilitation before transitioning to a 14-year career in pediatric occupational therapy. Her professional experience includes roles in First Steps, various preschools, and outpatient settings. Nikki Marsh
MSW, LCSW, RPT

Nikki is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist with 6 years of experience working with children and families who have experienced developmental trauma. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with certification in Birth through 6 th grade from Webster University and taught preschool for 8 years. She received her master’s degree in social work from St. She has level one training in Theraplay as well as Sunshine Circle training, which is the group Theraplay model. She has phase one training in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics and incorporates key principles of neurodevelopment into her clinical process. Nikki has worked as a program manager for several years and has helped caregivers navigate the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, as well as the transition from the preschool to kindergarten setting. Play is the language of children, and play therapy allows children to express their thoughts, feelings, and wishes in a safe and age-appropriate way. Toys and play materials are carefully selected for the child to express themselves. Play therapy has been shown to be effective for a variety of childhood concerns. Caregivers are an important part of the child’s therapy process and Nikki works collaboratively with caregivers to provide support and resources. Marina Panzeri
PT

Marina Panzeri has been a practicing physical therapist in the St. Louis area for greater than 35 years, having graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She has taken a particular interest in and has specialized in the John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release (MFR) Approach since 2002. She has gained experience utilizing myofascial release to treat a wide population, including adults with chronic pain issues and with treating severely neurologically involved and wheelchair dependent individuals. She was previously employed for 9 years at "The Myofascial Treatment Center" of St. Louis, where she provided physical therapy treatment for those with acute and chronic pain issues. She has years of experience working with children ages birth through 21, regularly incorporating myofascial release techniques with the traditional physical therapy treatments. Her motivation throughout the years to continue to learn and apply these techniques has come as a result of observing the immediate positive changes patients would make during treatment sessions, seeing the improvement in the quality of lives in particularly of the children, and the hugs and smiles received in gratitude from those she serves. Leslie A. Fortner

Leslie Fortner is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist with a Master of Health Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia with over 15 years experience. After completing a master’s thesis exploring gender bias in word acquisition and conducting clinical internships at Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital and Community Care Rehabilitation, Leslie worked for Special School District of St. Louis County for eight years. She then began a private practice specializing in school age children, as well as contracted with First Steps of Missouri serving children from birth to age three years.
