Tuesday, Bill Hearings:
Testifying always rocks me. As my body led me away from that hearing room, I heard my own desperate plea through tears and strained breath—“How are we still here?” I could feel every cell of my body crying out for relief, for justice, for understanding, for safety, for more love not less, for a safe and sane end to this fu***ng nonsense. I had to move, to breathe the cold air, to run the stairs, to shake it out, to ache in community.
How. Are. We. Still. Here.

Wednesday, Rally:
This was MEDICINE for what ailed us just hours before. We gathered in the center of Our House where truth was told, humanity was centered, energy was stoked, love was ever-present, and a still-fragile hope was restored. I stood with a dear soul I have missed. I laid on the floor of another dear soul who is deeply rooted in the work of justice. I was wrapped in a sweet, mutual witnessing loop with another dear soul.
So. Many. Dear. Souls.

This will all be moving through me for a while. It needs time and space to digest, to process, to alchemize. What I know in this moment is that I am deeply grateful for My People who remind me why we do this and how we do this. You are the light and together we are the way out of the dark. “We’ve got backpacks full of skills and we are at war.” Stand up, fight back.

On June 17, 2025, a federal court granted plaintiffs’ motions for class certification and for a preliminary injunction. The preliminary injunction allows many transgender, nonbinary, and inters*x people to receive passports with accurate s*x markers while this litigation is pending. No one should have to travel long distances for medically necessary healthcare – but bans and restrictions on gender-affirming care force trans youth and their families to do just that.

As a result of the recent Executive Order, clinics across the country have stopped offering gender-affirming care for youth under 19, forcing many individuals and families to relocate their care.

Now, the Trans Youth Emergency Project – led by Campaign for Southern Equality – is supporting those who have been forced to relocate their care with patient navigation services, one-time travel grants of $500, and more.
