No Time? I call BS.

When people say to me that they don’t have the time to learn the strategies that can transform their life….. I just have one response…

WHEN will you have the time?
WHEN will you have the time to make your health a priority?
WHEN will you decide that you have had enough of the fatigue, depression and weight gain?
WHEN will your needs come first? (ahead of your family or career?)

ONE year from now?
FIVE years from now?
When you RETIRE?
When things progress to a point where you don’t have a choice anymore but to deal with the problem because every day the alarm bells are going off?

If this sounds harsh it’s because I am tired of Intelligent, hard working career oriented men/women putting their health needs AFTER everyone and everything else in their lives.

It’s time to prioritize YOU…because in the end if you are going to insist on being the one that continues to hold everything together you are going to need to be a lot healthier than you are right now to do that.

Fact or Fiction?

“If you are feeling depressed, fatigued, have brain fog and belly fat AND you are over the age 40 …. You need to be on Hormone Replacement Therapy”

This statement is False most of the time but… true sometimes. Thinking about starting hormone replacement is a common misconception because MOST doctors push early on that if you have any of these symptoms… hormone replacement can give you a better quality of life.

This is an unfortunate assumption because many times it means many women/men will start hormone therapy even though their hormones levels are ok. The problem with this is at first you might feel better…. but after several months your symptoms will appear again, and you will actually feel worse!

Here’s the thing…the symptoms for unbalanced blood sugar resembles the symptoms of unbalanced hormones. Eating in a way that keeps your blood sugar balanced throughout the day… will cause those debilitating symptoms ….. (feelings of depression, fatigued, brain fog and belly fat) to vanish!

It is important to understand the full implications of this misconception and get the proper support and information. If this is something that you have previously been told but you now know is not true… please share your experience or ask your questions in the comments section.

Hey everyone, Roxanne here.
I just wanted to pop in with a personal note on something that I feel very strongly about that needs to change.

I was reading an article and it said that 95% of people who go on a diet regain more weight than they lost within 1 year.

This is heart wrenching for so many reasons and why I am so passionate about educating people who are 40 plus on how to have permanent weight loss.

This community is about educating and supporting 40 plus people so that they don’t end up becoming one of these statistics!

I often get asked the difference between using Pharmaceutics vs Supplements so I thought I should take a minute and explain the differences.

1. Pharmaceuticals override the natural functions of the body to reduce your symptoms whereas supplements work WITH your body to fill in nutrient gaps that may be contributing to your symptoms.
2. Pharmaceuticals can start to work very quickly whereas many supplements need to be taken long term to see results.
3. Pharmaceuticals may just mask symptoms whereas supplements may help to reverse dis-ease processes by filling in nutrient gaps.

It is important to understand the differences between Pharmaceutics vs Supplements so that you know what kind of results to expect and which choice is right for you.
