People wonder why I let him.

People wonder why I let him eat McDonald's.

Well truth be told, there was a time when he barely ate anything all day.

Avery has always struggled with food.

Between the texture, the smell, and honestly the temperature of food.

We went many years of Avery barely consuming anything.

So I always remember that when people wonder, judge or critique what he has to eat.

Yes McDonald's is Avery's favorite but he does not get it everyday.

Yes McDonald's is not the healthiest choice for him.

But he is eating.

And there was a time when he wouldn't eat at all.

As much as I would love Avery eating healthier choices.

I know it simply isn't possible for him at this time.

We continue to offer many choices and options, always introducing other things into his diet.

But Avery has a very limited food pallet.

One day I hope we gain a few more foods and never go back to when Avery wouldn't eat at all.

I am trying my best & that has to count for something.
