What Should I Do When I Experience A Sports Injury?

The best thing to do when you get a sports injury is to begin treatment right away. If you're experiencing severe pain or cannot move a particular part of your body, Dr. Copeland is typically available to see you the next day. When injuries are minor, our team suggests trying out the RICE method: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. Over-the-counter drugs are also extremely helpful in relieving pain. However, if your injury does not improve, we'd recommend speaking with your provider about another treatment method.
