In observance of the 2026 National EMS Week, Webster EMS extends its sincerest gratitude to its EMS providers for delivering compassionate and expert medical care around the clock to the residents of Webster. Appreciation is also expressed to those who joined in the celebration, particularly enjoying the daily staff luncheons throughout the week. Notably, the week encompassed rigorous training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support alongside a successful high-risk infant delivery. Furthermore, the team celebrated receiving the St. Patrick's Day Honor Guard Award from the City of Worcester. Acknowledgment is also due to our esteemed Public Safety partners, the Webster Police and Webster Fire, for their unwavering collaboration and commitment to the one-team approach.

Notification of Trial Response Plan: To our valued Webster residents, the Webster Fire Department is initiating a 60-day trial responding with Webster EMS Paramedic Ambulances. The purpose of this plan is to increase call volume for the Webster Fire Department and train our firefighters to support Webster EMS Paramedics in clinical environments. The Webster Fire Department will play a support role in these responses, and we expect this program to be long-term. Many have inquired about the Webster Police Department's response protocol, and Chief Shaw has confirmed that the Webster Police Department will remain the primary First Responder with EMS when available. As highlighted in the 2025 Study, the Webster Police Department needs eight additional officers. This initiative offers an additional safety measure for our paramedics and patients.

Congratulations to our 3rd successful Innovative Pathways Intern Amaya Torres.

Amaya, a graduating Senior at Bartlett has spent an entire semester along side Webster EMS shadowing Lt Marshall.

We are proud of the collaboration between our amazing Bartlett High School and Webster EMS.

Amaya will be attending Salem State University and has ambitions of a career in medicine.

Webster EMS acknowledges the professional, highly trained, and experienced dispatchers that watch over us everyday.

The unseen, but always heard voice that tells us where to go, what we will be seeing, and what to prepare for. And in an instance, we will ask for everything and they will get us everything, piece of equipment, manpower, whatever we ask for.

These are not ordinary people answering phones- they are not just dispatchers- they are protocol driven experts that understand EMS, Fire, and Police operations and protocols.
