Thank you to our Board President, Bill Gettman, for taking the time to discuss the negative impact this year's proposed budget cut to the Health Home program will have on children and families in NYS. We need to focus on prevention to reduce higher levels of care or removing children from their homes!

CHHUNY's CEO, Nicole Bryl, testified at the NYS Joint Legislative Hearing on Health to remind Governor Kathy Hochul that, in her own words, "our children need so much help." The 12,500 children, adolescents, and families we serve and our health home workforce of more than 800 hard-working individuals, are our priority. Children's Health Homes are the safety net for children and youth with mental health conditions or medical fragility and should be exempt from the Health Home Restructuring cost savings!
