Leaps and Bounds Speech and Language Pathology provides speech and language services to children birth -12th grade. Alicia Sessa is the sole proprietor of Leaps and Bounds Speech and Language Pathology. Alicia Sessa is a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and has a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from Nazareth College. Alicia Sessa is licensed as a speech-language pathologist in New York State and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. She has been a Speech Pathologist for over 16 years and has worked at various local agencies and school districts during that time. She decided to become an independent provider with Monroe County, NY, in September 2015. Alicia has worked with a variety of clients/students with a wide range of disorders including: developmental language delays, dyspraxia, fluency, articulation, phonological delays, autism, central auditory processing, literacy, social pragmatic delays, and social thinking. Speech and language services are provided in the child's home/daycare/preschool setting. Alicia Sessa is contracted through Monroe County to work with preschool students (3-5 years) and is also contracted with New York State to work with clients in the Early Intervention System (0-3 years). Alicia Sessa also provides private pay services to students of all ages up to 12th grade upon request.
