Yesterday we had the honor of cutting the ribbon on Olympic Avenue Apartments, our first-ever affordable housing development in Buffalo, NY! Olympic Avenue Apartments offers 43 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom apartments, with eight of those units specially constructed to accommodate individuals with physical disabilities. New sidewalks, landscaping, lighting, a playground and community garden were added alongside historic preservation initiatives including restoration of brick and stone masonry; repair of historic windows, the decorative metal railing, and interior plasterwork; and removal of suspended ceilings to reveal their historic height. We extend our sincerest thanks to Lenny Skrill from NYS Home and Community Renewal and Councilwoman Zeneta Everhart from Buffalo Masten District for speaking in our program and to everyone who attended and made this a wonderful event.

We were honored to receive the Community Benefit Award for collaboration with our partners Christa Construction, LLC, Passero Associates, Herrick-Saylor Engineers, Kennedy Mechanical Contractors, Inc., Radec Electric Corporation, and Sustainable Comfort, Inc. to bring Edna Craven Estates to life. We all have a responsibility to do our part in the City of Rochester.
