A non-profit, community-based comfort care home, committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to the terminally ill, and their families, in a home like atmosphere. WCCHIt is our desire to allow our residents to live in a warm, loving home-like atmosphere of support and encouragement during their final months of life. We believe in the Hospice philosophy of care: all persons have the right to die with dignity, to have an enhanced quality of life for the remainder of their days, and to be as comfortable and pain free as possible. Webster Comfort Care is a comprehensive and compassionate 2-bed home for the dying in the Webster community. It is a true home-like atmosphere, not a health care facility or a hospital. We ascribe to the hospice philosophy of care that states that all persons have the right to die with dignity, to have enhanced quality of life, and to be as comfortable as possible. Our primary goal is to provide comfort care, symptom control and pain management for our residents, as well as to be a source of respite care for the families.

We loved seeing our Executive Director Julianne Groff and Town Councilwoman Ginny Nguyen teaming up with WHEN Webster Health & Education Network at the Lunchtime Legends event at Willink Middle School!

WHEN partnered with WCSD to bring new life to a beloved pre-COVID tradition that connected community elders with middle school students for fun, conversation, and meaningful connection during lunch. Formerly known as Listening Post, this reimagined Lunchtime Legends program was a huge hit with students and volunteers alike.

A big thank you to Julianne, Ginny, and all the incredible volunteers who helped make this happen. Building bridges across generations is what community is all about!

We’re excited to continue our partnership with Volvo Cars Rochester to support Soles4Souls — an amazing organization that turns “unwanted shoes into opportunity” by keeping them out of landfills and putting them to good use.

We're collecting new and gently used shoes (sneakers, sandals, boots, etc.) through January 2026.
