We had an incredible Nursing Home Week! That is… everyone except our administrator who took a pie to the face 🤣

A special thanks to our activities team and our department heads for hosting such fun parties, and to Weiser Classic Candy & Deli and the Weiser branch of Idaho Pizza Company for their sponsorship!

As we celebrate this year’s theme, the “Tapestry of Life”, we ponder all the ways our lives are weaved together to make something beautiful. And we remember that when we’re together, we can be so much more than when we’re on our own.

Get to know our team!

Rhonda has been a part of our housekeeping and laundry crew for almost six years. She is a super reliable employee and a great listening ear to all of our residents. Outside of work you’ll find her in the garden or camping, so you know she is loving this spring weather! She also loves spending time with her kids and grandkids. Next time you see her, make sure you say hello!

We will miss seeing Craig around the facility, but we’re excited for him and his next adventure. He gifted us these gorgeous floral arrangements that include Queen Protea flowers flown in from Puerto Rico! Craig - we love you!

Our Boise State Football fans had a blast meeting former Bronco's cornerback Markel Reed today. Especially Rod, who hasn't missed a game in years. Markel, you put a smile on our faces today, thank you! And gooooo Broncos! 🧡💙🐴

Get to know our team!

This is the one and only Sue Gourley. She currently holds the record for length of seniority in our facility - 46 years!! Sue is loved by our residents and staff alike for her cheerful attitude and upbeat personality. When she’s not working as a lead cook in the kitchen, she’s probably drinking unsweetened tea and hanging out with her grandsons. Sue is secretly a metal-head! She loves listening to heavy metal music while she’s cooking and baking. You rock, Sue! 🎸

Ann is a CNA and an RNA (Restorative Nursing Aide), meaning she provides range of motion and strengthening exercises to Improve mobility and independence for our residents. She loves to camp and fish, and has a little-known talent for remodeling. She loves comedy movies and spending time with family - especially the grandkids. Thanks for being awesome, Ann!

Dawn Parker, our Chief Nursing Officer, has worked at our facility for nearly 29 years! Dawn and her family love all things Disney, and her favorite food is fruit salad. As a child she wanted to be a school teacher, but found a passion for nursing and the rest is history. Thank you for all you do, Dawn!
