When you enroll in Nurse Family Partnership program, you will have a free personal registered nurse who will provide support, advice, and information you need to have a healthy pregnancy, a healthy baby and be a great mom.
* Become the best mom you can be
* Learn and practice things that make you more confident as a mom, like breast-feeding, nutrition, child development, and much more.
* Get referrals to community resources for healthcare, childcare, job training and other support services
* Continue your education, develop job skill or follow your dreams for the future.
Who can enroll? Any woman who:
* Is pregnant with her first child
*Is pregnant 28 weeks or less
* Meet income requirements
* Lives in an area where Nurse-Family Partnership is available. The NFP Northeastern NC serves moms living in Edgecombe, Halifax, Hertford, Nash and Northampton counties.
Who can participate?
The father, family members and friends are welcome to participate in the program, but as the mom, you are the main focus!

You can call (252) 370-2595 and ask for Teresa Stansbury or Blair Creekmore, MSN, RN, IBCLC or register on www.nfpmoms.org or let your pregnancy care manager or obstetrician that you are interested in enrolling in the program.
