The Elizabeth Seton Residence is a Catholic not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Wellesley Hills, MA.

We love baby animals, and the visit from Barn Babies was amazing and therapeutic! Staff couldn't resist joining the residents as we cuddled baby bunnies, cats, and George the potbelly pig! And we all loved the goat...in his adapted diaper 🤗 Thank you, Barn Babies Traveling Petting Zoo !

Nothing says Summer like Ice Cream Truck Day!! Staff and residents recently spent a sunny afternoon in the Courtyard enjoying our favorite treats. We look forward to this annual event, and love hearing the happy music and watching the truck pull in!

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of our beloved colleague, Rose Esthere Lacroix, a Certified Nursing Assistant at Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley.

Rose was a shining light in our community—known for her compassion, her dedication to her patients, and her dream of building a better future for her young son and aging mother. After moving from Haiti in 2023, she quickly became a valued member of our team and a cherished friend to many.

We are working with her family to raise funds for funeral arrangements and to help bring her son and mother to Boston for the services. If you’re able, we invite you to support this effort and help honor Rose’s legacy of love and care.

When the heat and humidity takes a break, we spend LOTS of time outside! So lovely spending time in the courtyard with our friends.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club our Gardening Club has a wonderful new raised garden bed to plant! The wheelchair accessibility means we can all participate - flowers, herbs and veggies were planted with care…and much laughter. Thank you to our WHJWC friends!!

We kicked off this year’s July 4th celebration early with a patriotic-themed cookout in courtyard! Lovely afternoon, great food and much Red, White and Blue. Happy Birthday USA 🇺🇸

We enjoyed our annual Family BBQ on Sunday, just ahead of the heat! The delicious traditional cookout fare was enjoyed by over 60 attendees. Kudos to our Unidine Corporation Dining Services and Activities teams supported by nursing & environmental services for a lovely afternoon enjoying families and friends.

As Certified Nursing Assistant week draws to a close, we thank all our CNAs for the caring and compassion they share with our residents every day! We know they are special EVERY day of EVERY week, 24/7 as the frontline of our awesome team. ESR CNAs are the BEST!!! Thanks for making a difference ❤️

We enjoyed our alfresco pizza party thanks to Pizza Goddess "A Little Slice of Heaven" mobile brick oven catering and perfect courtyard weather this week! Staff and residents alike feasted on assorted pizzas fresh out of the oven parked in our courtyard - delicious! Many thanks to our awesome Activities, Nursing, Rehab, Housekeeping and Dining teams who helped everyone enjoy the afternoon!

Today was a perfect day for our first Cookout of the Summer! Our Western-themed BBQ featured a tasty southwestern menu, country western entertainment, and enjoying the gorgeous weather in the courtyard!

Nursing Home Week festivities continued with a concert for residents and recognition of our awesome "Superheroes in Scrubs"! We enjoyed wearing our capes and rocking our superhero persona...so many super powers!!! But number one: Compassionate Care! Having so much fun celebrating our residents and staff 😄
