🌨️ Winter Weather Alert for Our Caregivers❄️

A winter storm is on the way, and we’re expecting limited travel and possible power outages. Please take time now to help clients prepare and stay safe.

Preparation Tips:

✅ Speak with your client about their emergency plans. Assist them with stocking up on essentials – food, water, medications, and extra blankets.

✅ Charge phones and medical devices ahead of the storm.

✅ Check heating sources – ensure safe use of space heaters and keep extra batteries/flashlights available.

✅ Plan ahead for care schedules – Due to the nature of home care services, it is imperative that Angel's Best Home Care be able to continue to offer in home care. However, employees must make judgement calls if travel is discouraged by local law enforcement. For those with clients with Saturday schedules, we recommend completing your visit as early as possible in the morning prior to road conditions changing due to anticipated precipitation.
