💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At New Care Behavioral Health, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health. Taking care of your mind, emotions, and overall well-being is a sign of strength—not weakness.

This month, we encourage everyone to:
✨ Check in with yourself
✨ Reach out for support when needed
✨ Show compassion to others
✨ Break the stigma surrounding mental health

You are not alone, and help is always available. Whether you’re managing stress, anxiety, depression, or simply need someone to talk to, support can make all the difference.

Let’s work together to build a healthier, stronger community—one conversation at a time.

💬 If you’ve been trying to get your child into counseling and keep hitting waitlists… read this.

You’re not the only one.

A lot of parents right now are seeing:

More anxiety
More frustration or emotional outbursts
More shutdown, withdrawal, or school struggles

…and then when you finally reach out for help, you’re told it’s weeks (or months) to get in.

We didn’t think that was good enough.

🗓️ Starting next week, we’re opening a limited number of new appointments for kids and teens.

This includes:
• Individual therapy openings
• Teen Anxiety support
• 👀 A new Frustration Tolerance / Emotional Regulation group launching soon!!

Our goal is simple: help families actually get in and get started—without the usual runaround.

Spots are limited and will fill quickly.

📩 Send us a message or call to get your child scheduled.

And if you know another parent who’s been trying to find support, feel free to share this—this is exactly who we’re trying to reach.

Call now to connect with business.

We love celebrating the incredible work our clinicians are doing—both in and outside of the office!

Next week, Nicole Crone will be traveling to Portland to present at the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation conference. Her presentation, “When Her Story Echoes Mine,” explores how therapists with their own trauma histories navigate clinical work, including topics like countertransference, professional boundaries, and the “wounded healer” dynamic.

Her work highlights the importance of balancing lived experience with ethical, client-centered care—an approach that deeply aligns with our values.

Join us in wishing Nicole safe travels and a meaningful, impactful presentation!
