The new taxes for 2023 have been loaded and are ready to be paid. Remember this year is our first year to offer online payments! The fees for the online payments are in the comments! You can still come into the office and we will get you taken care of! Just like the previous years we offer a 3% discount in October so take advantage of that!

We are now located in room 1 where the 4-H was! This is the far Southwest office on the first floor!

We are now accepting applications for a full-time assistant appraiser. Said employee will be required to attend state schooling and acquire a TDLR License.

CONGRATULATIONS BRITTANY WARREN!! Today she passed her Level IV State Exam and is now a Registered Professional Appraiser and qualifies to be a Chief Appraiser. We are extremely proud of our Brittany.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BRITTANY WARREN!!!! Brittany is our Deputy Chief Appraiser here at Collingsworth CAD and today she passed her Level III State Appraiser exam. Way to go Brittany.

Collingsworth CAD will be having a Sheriff Sale on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 on the East side of the Collingsworth County Courthouse at 2:00 p.m. You must register in the Collingsworth CAD office prior to the sale to bid on property. Most of the property has been removed from the sale at this time due to accounts being cleared. In fact I believe we are down to about 2 properties.

If you haven't noticed Wellington property is being appraised this week. You may have noticed some people with County Appraiser signs on their vehicles. These people work for the Collingsworth County Appraisal District. Also after a three year battle with the state we passed our Property Value Study this year. With that in mind maybe the appraised values won't take a big hit this year.

FYI: February 1, 2021 taxes for 2020 will
become delinquent and a 7% penalty and interest added to any unpaid balances. Since our office will be closed for the weekend January 30th and 31st we will honor any payments made on February 1st as a January payment with no penalty or interest added.

Due to the weather, Collingsworth CAD will be closed today Tuesday, October 27, 2020. 3% Discounts will remain in effect through Friday, October 30th. 2% Discounts will go into effect Monday, November 2nd. Friday, October 30 postmarks will be accepted for 3% discount. Be sure to VOTE.
