One of America's most respected hospital systems drops Individual Medicare Advantage plans due to dwindling reimbursements and denial of services to patients. Traditional Medicare (with a Medicare Supplement and drug plan) is the best way to go for choice of services and providers... A recent article in the Wall Street Journal outlines a new investigation into Medicare fraud. Medicare Advantage plans allows private for-profit healthcare companies to be the gatekeepers of American's health needs, limiting or denying services, all while having record profits.

For more complete coverage with more choice, Americans over 65 should consider 'Traditional' (original) Medicare with a Medicare Supplement over a Medicare 'Advantage' plan.

If you currently have a Medicare ‘Advantage’ plan that replaced your Medicare coverage, it’s possible you have lost coverage with your favorite medical providers.

But, you can switch back to Original Medicare!

The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment period is January 1 to March 31.

To change back to more complete coverage, you can call 1-800-MEDICARE to unenroll from Medicare ‘Advantage’ and then confirm your enrollment in ‘Original’ Medicare.
