Brooke with Gentiva Hospice brought the party to us today! 🍦🎉

We cooled off with some delicious root beer floats and then turned up the fun with a tattoo party! Everyone was so excited to get “all tatted up” and show off their new ink. There were lots of laughs, smiles, and good memories made today.

Thank you, Brooke, for such a fun-filled afternoon and for always bringing joy to our residents!

Today Dori with Interim Healthcare stopped by for a game of SINGO Bingo and brought some amazing prizes along with her! 🎶

Our residents had such a great time traveling back in time, singing along to all the classic oldies tunes and enjoying some friendly competition.

The room was full of laughter, music, and smiles. Thank you, Dori, for bringing so much fun and energy to our day — we can’t wait for the next game!! 🎤🎵✨

Today was full of fun, laughter, and sweet treats! 🍿🥤🎂

Residents enjoyed a popcorn party with ice cold pop and a delicious piece of cake.

After snacks, we teamed up with our therapy department for a few exciting games of hot potato! There were plenty of smiles and lots of laughs shared by everyone.

We’re looking forward to even more fun activities throughout the week! 💙

What an amazing start to a week dedicated to celebrating the heart of our facility — our incredible staff and residents! ❤️ From smiles and laughter to fun activities and special treats, today was filled with appreciation, teamwork, and joy. Our Mother’s Day Tea was truly a beautiful afternoon filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. 💕☕
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the daughters, sisters, friends, and loved ones who came to spend this special time with us. Watching our residents share stories, smiles, tea, and finger foods with the people they cherish most made the day incredibly meaningful.

Today we celebrate our incredible MDS Coordinator Chelsie — the unsung hero behind the scenes who help ensure our residents receive the care they deserve! 💙

So, what does an MDS Coordinator do?

In a Skilled Nursing Facility, the MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator plays a vital role in assessing each resident’s needs, preferences, and overall health status. They carefully gather and analyze information to create a comprehensive picture of every resident, which helps guide individualized care plans.

MDS Coordinators work closely with nursing, therapy, dietary, activities, and the entire interdisciplinary team to ensure care is accurate, appropriate, and always centered around the resident. They also help ensure compliance with regulations and accurate documentation — which directly impacts quality of care and facility operations.

Because of her attention to detail and dedication, our residents receive the right care at the right time. Her work truly makes a difference every single day!
