The Wellington Christian Academy kids are back again! 💕
This time it was Mrs. Jenkins’ class, and they absolutely spoiled us. They brought Valentine’s Bingo, the cutest little art project, tic-tac-toe, and a whole bucket full of candy! 🍬❤️
Our residents truly light up during these visits. There’s something so special about watching the laughter, smiles, and conversations shared between generations. These intergenerational moments mean more than words can say — and we are so grateful for the time and love these students pour into our community.
We can’t wait to have them back again! 💌✨

❤️ A Fun Valentine Celebration! ❤️

On Friday we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a sweet and festive party! Residents enjoyed fresh popcorn, delicious danishes, and refreshing strawberry & cream floats. 🍓🥤🍿

Of course, the fun wouldn’t be complete without a few exciting games of Valentine Bingo! There was lots of laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles as everyone joined in the fun.

The room was filled with joy, treats, and wonderful company — a perfect way to celebrate the day of love! 💕

Today we spent the afternoon making Valentine’s cards for our friends in other Mission-run communities ❤️ Our residents had so much fun decorating, getting creative, and sharing the love. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles and hearts!

Today we hosted a Hot Cocoa Social and it was such a hit! Hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream, a few sweet treats, lots of trivia, and plenty of laughs. Carrie (our dietary manager) and Heather (our social services designee) joined us and helped make the day extra special. Nothing but smiles all around! 💙
