🎉 Celebrating Rachelle! 🎉

Rachelle has been part of our Botkin family for 3 years now, and today we’re celebrating her 3-year work-a-versary! 💙 She first joined us as a CNA, then worked her way up to CMA, and just recently graduated nursing school to become an LPN! 👩‍⚕️✨

We are so proud of all her hard work and dedication, and we’re so thankful she chooses to share her talents with us here at Botkin Care & Rehab. Here’s to many more years together, Rachelle! 💐👏

🎉👏 Congratulations to Cindy Hizar! 👏🎉

Cindy came to our facility for therapy, worked hard, stayed determined, and grew stronger every single day. Today, we’re so proud to celebrate her progress as she gets to return home! 🏡💪

We are going to miss her smiling face around here, but we’re beyond happy to see her moving forward on this next chapter. Way to go, Cindy—you did it! 💖

🌟 Big Announcement! 🌟

We are overjoyed to share that Lenny Scheufler has joined us as our new Men’s Devotional Leader!

Lenny is no stranger to Wellington—he has been a longtime resident and a true pillar of our community. Many know him through his active role in the church and the countless ways he has touched lives with his kindness and servant heart. In 2021, Lenny was recognized with the Distinguished Service Award, a testament to his dedication to others and the positive influence he continues to have in our town.

In addition to his new role with us, Lenny also runs the local Grief Share group at the Methodist Church downtown, where he helps guide and support those walking through some of life’s most difficult seasons. His compassion, faith, and wisdom make him a wonderful leader and mentor, and we feel so blessed to have him here with us.

Please join us in giving Lenny a warm welcome as he begins this new chapter with our Men’s Devotional group. We are so excited for the guidance, inspiration, and encouragement he will bring to everyone he meets.

🌟 Happy National Housekeeping Supervisor Day! 🌟

Today we celebrate Rhonda, our wonderful Housekeeping Supervisor! She makes sure our building is sparkling clean, the laundry is always done, and most importantly—our residents are happy. 💙

But Rhonda goes above and beyond every single day. Whether it’s tracking down a lost remote control, filling bird baths, keeping bird feeders full, or lending a helping hand with anything our residents need—she does it all with a smile on her face and a cheerful heart. 🐦✨

Every Monday morning, Scott gets us all up and moving with his resident-led chair exercise! 🪑🙌 He does his homework, plans the moves, and brings the energy to start our week off right. 🌟
Way to go, Scott—you’ve turned Mondays into our favorite workout day! 🥳👏

Wow, what a trip we had this morning! 🐾💙
We spent the morning at the Wellington Humane Society, visiting with the sweetest dogs and cats. These visits aren’t just wonderful pet therapy for our residents—they also help socialize the animals and give them even better chances at finding their forever homes.

Our residents lit up with smiles while getting lots of puppy kisses and kitty cuddles, and the joy in the room was priceless. 🐶🐱

After our visit, we made a fun stop at Sonic for a refreshing drink to top off the day.🥤🧊

These outings mean so much to us, and we’re so grateful to be able to share these special moments together! 🌟

🎂 Today we hit pause on the call lights and grab the confetti because it’s Hannah’s BIRTHDAY! 🎂

Hannah isn’t just one of our CNAs here at Botkin Care & Rehab — she’s the reason smiles spread a little quicker, laughter lasts a little longer, and our residents feel extra loved and cared for. 💕

We are so sad to say goodbye to our Men's Devotional leader, Steve, as he is moving out of state. He has been such a blessing to our group and will be deeply missed. At the same time, we’re excited for him as he embarks on this new chapter in his life, and we wish him nothing but the best on his journey ahead.

With Steve moving away, we are now looking for a new leader to continue guiding our Men's Devotional group. Our residents had a ball this afternoon during our chair kickball game! ⚽✨ Lots of laughter, cheering, and a little friendly competition filled the room. It’s always such a joy to see everyone staying active and having fun together. 💙

🐾😂 Happy National Dog Day! 😂🐾

Today we honor the true VIPs in our lives — the Very Important Pups! 🐕💛 Whether they’re professional bed hogs, snack thieves, or expert tail-waggers, dogs have a special way of making life brighter (and furrier).

Let’s hear it for the pups who:

Think “sit” is just a polite suggestion 🪑🙄

Can hear a cheese wrapper from three rooms away 🧀👂

Convince us every trip to the kitchen is for them 🍗

Greet us like we’ve been gone for 7 years when it’s only been 7 minutes 🕒💨

To all the good boys and girls — thank you for the sloppy kisses, unconditional love, and for making our hearts so full (and our couches so hairy). 🥰
