Our recent hot dog food drive at Wellington Health and Rehab was a fantastic success, thanks in large part to the enthusiastic involvement of our residents who helped prepare for the event. Their hard work and creativity made the day special, showcasing the spirit of community and generosity. A special shoutout goes to the Wellington Street Department for providing the cones that ensured safety and organization during the event, and to Good Shepherd Hospice for generously supplying water to keep everyone refreshed. Together, we created a wonderful atmosphere of camaraderie and support, making a positive impact in our community 🌭😁

The residents of Wellington Health and Rehab enjoyed a delightful morning as they embarked on a scenic golf cart ride around the park, With the sun shining and a gentle breeze in the air, laughter filled the atmosphere as they took in the beautiful surroundings. Many residents reminisced about past outings, sharing stories and smiles as they spotted playful ducks waddling by the nearby pond. This joyful experience not only provided a breath of fresh air, but also fostered connections and cherished moments among friends ☀️🦆

With a vibrant float adorned with colorful decorations, the team highlighted their dedication to promoting community and support . Residents and staff waved to the crowd, sharing smiles and enthusiasm as they celebrated the spirit of the festival. As the council members gathered to celebrate her incredible milestone, they presented a heartfelt proclamation honoring her over the decades. With a warm smile, Ruth accepted the recognition. The room filled with applause, as her presence served as a powerful reminder of resilience and the rich tapestry of history woven through the life’s she’s touched!

🐐🧘‍♀️Baby Goat Yoga is Back!🐐🧘‍♀️

We have baby goats coming on May 31st to join us in a Yoga class that you won't forget! There are limited spots in each session, so register soon so that you don't miss out! Classes will be held in the shelter lobby. Bring a mat that you don't mind getting dirty...or chewed on. 😉

You must be 16 or older to participate and the cost is $25 per person. Fill out the registration online to reserve your spot. You won't be confirmed until payment is submitted. Sessions are from 2:00-2:45pm and 3:00-3:45pm.

We look forward to having you! Baby goats come from a local Sumner County farm and sponsor Half Pint Acres.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved resident, Faith, this week. Faith was a vibrant presence in our community, known for her warm smile and kind spirit. She touched the lives of everyone around her, bringing joy and comfort to both staff and fellow residents alike. Her laughter and stories will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
