The VFW district #5 stopped by to drop off a special gift bag for one of our resident veterans, James Yates. ❤️ It’s moments like this that remind us how important it is to honor and appreciate those who served. Last night we had the joy of gathering with our residents, friends, and family members for a Thanksgiving dinner. The room was filled with so much warmth as laughter and shared stories filled the room across the tables that only togetherness can bring. We are thankful for every resident, family member, friend, and staff member who makes our community feel like home. Wishing everyone a safe, healthy, and blessed Thanksgiving from our family to yours. 🦃

A big shout-out to the amazing Lincoln Elementary - Usd353 students who joined us today to make these wonderful Thanksgiving placemats with our residents! Their kind smiles, creativity, and laughter made the day extra special as we get ready for our Thanksgiving Family Dinner. 🍽️🦃

On veterans day, we got to celebrate and honor Bert, who was presented with a medal in recognition of his service and dedication to our country. His courage, commitment, and sacrifice remind us of the true meaning of Veterans Day. We’re so proud of you, Bert — thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do. 🎖 🫡 ⭐️

It was a full day of fun, creativity, and green thumbs as residents rolled up their sleeves to plant some beautiful plants in their very own personalized pots they painted. A huge thank you goes to the ones who participated making this such a fun and exciting activity. We can't wait to watch these plants grow and light up the space they hold! 🌱💚🌻🎨

It was such a fun filled Friday with the residents taking a nice cool ride on golf carts through woods park in the morning and then followed up with a tiki bar in the afternoon while getting tatted up and chatting amongst one another!

Today, the therapy team and residents from Wellington Health and Rehab had a wonderful outing to the Glass Museum. The residents were captivated by the stunning displays of glass art and enjoyed learning about the intricate craftsmanship involved in each piece. To make the day even more special, each resident received a thoughtful gift to remember their visit. It was a joyful experience filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories, reinforcing the importance of creativity and connection in their therapeutic journey 😊
