On veterans day, we got to celebrate and honor Bert, who was presented with a medal in recognition of his service and dedication to our country. It was a full day of fun, creativity, and green thumbs as residents rolled up their sleeves to plant some beautiful plants in their very own personalized pots they painted. A huge thank you goes to the ones who participated making this such a fun and exciting activity. We can't wait to watch these plants grow and light up the space they hold! 🌱💚🌻🎨

It was such a fun filled Friday with the residents taking a nice cool ride on golf carts through woods park in the morning and then followed up with a tiki bar in the afternoon while getting tatted up and chatting amongst one another!

Today, the therapy team and residents from Wellington Health and Rehab had a wonderful outing to the Glass Museum. The residents were captivated by the stunning displays of glass art and enjoyed learning about the intricate craftsmanship involved in each piece. To make the day even more special, each resident received a thoughtful gift to remember their visit. It was a joyful experience filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories, reinforcing the importance of creativity and connection in their therapeutic journey 😊

At Wellington Health and Rehab, the spirit of Patriot Day was alive this week as residents took the initiative to prepare and deliver snacks to local fire, EMS, police, and sheriff departments. With a strong sense of community and gratitude, they assembled care packages filled with delicious treats to show appreciation for the brave men and women who serve on the front lines. This heartfelt gesture not only honored the memory of 9/11 but also fostered connections between the residents and the first responders, creating a meaningful tribute that echoed the values of unity and respect🇺🇸❤️

Our recent hot dog food drive at Wellington Health and Rehab was a fantastic success, thanks in large part to the enthusiastic involvement of our residents who helped prepare for the event. Their hard work and creativity made the day special, showcasing the spirit of community and generosity. A special shoutout goes to the Wellington Street Department for providing the cones that ensured safety and organization during the event, and to Good Shepherd Hospice for generously supplying water to keep everyone refreshed. Together, we created a wonderful atmosphere of camaraderie and support, making a positive impact in our community 🌭😁

The residents of Wellington Health and Rehab enjoyed a delightful morning as they embarked on a scenic golf cart ride around the park, With the sun shining and a gentle breeze in the air, laughter filled the atmosphere as they took in the beautiful surroundings. Many residents reminisced about past outings, sharing stories and smiles as they spotted playful ducks waddling by the nearby pond.
