According to the CDC, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men in the United States—1 in every 4 male deaths is caused by heart disease!
More than 700,000 men are diagnosed with cancer each year, and nearly 300,000 of those will die from the disease.
More than 60% of adult American men are overweight or obese.
Men are three to seven times more likely than women to commit su***de.
And yet, only 3 out of 5 men get annual physicals, over 40% of men only go to the doctor when they think they have a “serious” medical condition, more than half of men say their health isn’t something they talk about, and despite over 30% of men suffering depression in their lifetime, men are unlikely to talk about their feelings or seek help for their mental health
