Maïte Duquenne - Belgium

A dressage rider that knew she wanted to improve off the horse in order to get better on the horse.

Another inspiring story from a rider with 0 interest in yoga, whom after just 4 sessions completely changed her perspective on what it can do for you.

Bringing yoga to the Equestrian world comes with a clear mission, to show riders how good it gets once you start practicing.

There are no available spots left this month, but I created a waitinglist for the ones that are ready to move forward.

To secure your spot, check the link 🔗 in my bio!

1. I felt like I could sit deeper in the saddle without even thinking about it too much.
2. I actually felt a little tired after the session.
3. I never took such a deep breath in my life.

Let’s dive deeper into all 3 👇🏼
1. Yoga helps you open up, release tension and understand your body better. There is no magic, it is simply you chosing to connect with your body through the practice of Yoga in order to show up better for your horse. The more relaxed, open and supple you are the better your seat.
2. Feeling tired or yawning after a yoga session is the best possible outcome as your body gets out of fight or flight mode and into full calmness. Feeling tired or lazy is the perfect sign that you just took yoor body through a big reset.
3. People and especially athletes go through their day to day in a auto pilot mode. often with a shallow, chest driven breathing pattern. In yoga we focus on connecting with the breath. The #1 factor that you have control over before training or competing in order to settle nerves or stress.

Follow this method if you want to become a better rider.
Because my students know better riding starts with the rider and how they show up for their horse.

Follow for more insights on how to ride from a different angle.
