Today is National First Responders Day! Thank you to our local first responders who answer the call for emergencies.

** FYI** On Wednesday Oct. 8th @ 7 pm the Wells Fire Dept. will be doing it's annual Operation Edith Drill. The city wide siren will sound momentarily to signal the start. There will be fire trucks with lights on driving down your streets. Please don't be alarmed and call in to dispatch. Please let us know that you have practiced your escape drills and changed smoke detector batteries by turning on your outside house lights. Thanks
