Dorothy A. “Dottie” (Hazelton) Bush, age 87, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was born on October 30, 1938 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of the late Ransford and Olga (Lundquist) Hazelton and was married to Gary C. Bush for 54 years. Dottie was formerly employed by Mergenthaler, Super Duper, Country Owl Florist and Field Flowers Florist. She was a member of the Wellsboro Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed camping, gardening, going for rides with her husband, Buddy her cat and spending time with her family. She is survived by a son: Robert (Earlene) Shaw, daughters: Brenda (Brad) Urey, Linda (Mike) Tomlinson, grandchildren: Douglas (Rachel) Tomlinson, Lucas (Haley) Starkweather, Jessica (Evan) Wawrykow, Joshua Moroschok, Alisha Shaw, several great grandchildren, stepdaughters: Anjie Bush, Amy Bush. She was predeceased by her first husband: Robert E. Shaw, son: Gary A. Shaw, several brothers and a sister. Myrna J. Graham, age 85, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Jacksonville Beach, FL, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. She was born on May 9, 1940 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of the late Clifford and Kathryn (Wagner) Graham and was formerly employed by Mosher’s 5 & 10 and the Mansfield Motor Inn. She was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed swimming and the ocean. Myrna loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her dogs. She is survived by two daughters: Deborah Mosher of Jacksonville, FL, Terri (Jerry) Locey of Wellsboro, PA, two sisters: Joane Reese of Wellsboro, PA, Shirley (Kyle) Kenyon of Hillsborough, NC, two grandchildren: Caitlin Locey and Eric Locey. She was predeceased by her longtime love: Joseph Swinsick, son: Tedd Buss, brother: James (Sheila) Graham, brother-in-law: William Reese. A private family service will be held at a later date. Sharon L. (Wetherbee) Patterson, age 83, of Wellsboro, PA died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1942 in Corning, NY, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Ilene (Jones) Wetherbee and was the wife of the late James L. Patterson. Sharon was formerly employed by Mergenthaler and was a member of the Wellsboro United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated mother to her family and enjoyed cooking, canning, and spending time with her family, friends and grand dogs. She also enjoyed cross stitching, reading, listening to music and family genealogy. Sharon is survived by four sons: Tyler Patterson, Darren (Jackie) Patterson, Patrick Patterson, Jason (Audrey) Patterson, all of Wellsboro, PA, sister: Carole Wetherbee of Wellsboro, PA, grandchildren: James Patterson, Alexa Patterson and Jacob Patterson. Bonnie L. (Lewis) Pierce, age 78, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. She was born on April 27, 1947 in Elmira, NY a daughter of the late Duane D. Lewis and the late Christine (Clark) Cook and was married to the late Gerald J. Pierce and was formerly employed by Wundies as a seamstress. She attended the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church, Wellsboro, PA, enjoyed sewing, couponing, doves and was a member of the Morris 55 Club and the Ornament Club. She is survived by a daughter: Tonya (Tim) Wilkinson of Wellsboro, PA, sons: G. Scott (Debra Lockett) Pierce of Wellsboro, PA, Brent (Ryan Bates) Pierce of Covington, PA, sisters: Debra (Rick Bloom) Losey of Knoxville, PA, Karen (Frank) Shutter of Honeoye, NY, brother: Robert (Lynne Steadman) Lewis of Elkland, PA, 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Walter D. “Walt” Starkweather, age 85, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Saturday, October 18, 2025. He was born on December 20, 1939 in Horseheads, NY a son of the late Fred and Florence (Hall) Starkweather, was married to Debra “Debbie” (Wetherbee) Starkweather and was the last sibling of 12 children. Walt was retired from the PA DOT after 38 ½ years of service and enjoyed hunting, taking care of his lawn, helping others and especially spending time with his family and friends. Harold R. “Dickie” Rawson, age 83, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Saturday, October 4, 2025. He was born on September 2, 1942 in Wellsboro, PA a son of the late Arnold and Laura (Eberenz) Rawson and was the husband of the late Vivian (Blackwell) Rawson. Dick served in the US Army, was a self-employed mechanic for many years and enjoyed restoring old cars and tractors. If Dickie can’t fix it, nobody can. She was born on February 10, 1934 in Morris, PA a daughter of the late James and Mildred (Priset) Collins and was the wife of the late John W. Davis. Phyllis was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wellsboro, PA and had worked for Wundies, Liberty, PA for many years. She enjoyed playing euchre, gardening, swimming, going on cruises and especially spending time with family and friends. She is survived by three sons: Terry Davis of Morris, PA, Robert (Sheila Crawford) Davis of Morris, PA, Michael (Michelle) Davis of Millerton, PA, daughter: Irene (Donald) Heatley of Morris, PA, sisters: Constance Williams of Morris, PA, Donna (Lonnie) Osgood of Morris, PA, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law: Patti Lynne Davis and a brother and a sister.
