A number of children who are part of Good News Clubs do not attend church on a regular basis. Please pray that the Lord would show their families the importance of being part of a church family, and that He would lead them to solid, Bible-believing churches.

The frigid days of winter are upon us, and that often brings with it the possibility of snow and ice. Please pray for safety for our volunteers and students as they travel to and from school and Clubs during this season, and that inclement weather would not interfere with children hearing about the good news of Jesus.

This week, children all over the state head back to school after Christmas break. This means that Good News Clubs are starting up again as well! Please pray that both our students and volunteers would be able to get “back into the swing of things” quickly, and that God would be glorified through our first week of Club in 2026!

CEF October Newsletter -

Praise God for the opportunities He is giving us to serve Him! I recall hearing a message years ago about being a servant of the Lord. The preacher talked about how great a blessing it is to serve God, but he ended the message in a way that hushed the audience. He said something along the lines of,....

This week, many of our Good News Clubs will be starting the ‘Life of Christ’ series that will last through the remainder of the school year. From the angelic announcement of His birth, to His death and resurrection, the students will learn so much about Jesus this year! Please pray that unsaved children will understand and accept the gift of salvation, and that believing children will deepen their walk with the Lord as a result of this series.

Each year, many children come to Good News Club with no prior knowledge of God’s Word. With that in mind, we will spend the first few weeks of Club teaching a series called ‘Foundations,’ covering crucial Biblical events from creation to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. Would you join us in praying that the Lord will use this series to lay a firm foundation of Biblical truth in the hearts of the children?

Over the next few weeks, Good News Clubs and Released Time Classes will be starting again all over eastern Pennsylvania.
