Jenkins Memorial Health Facility Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Jenkins Memorial Health Facility is a not-for-profit rehabilitation and nursing center which was established in 1971.

Since its inception, it has evolved into becoming the leader in multiple levels of care for the elderly or disabled. The Facility has a rehab center with private rooms, a long-term care community, an assisted living community and a dementia care community. It is in a beautiful rural setting with spacious gardens and outdoor areas as well as several dining rooms. The facility is blessed with long

term staff, who know what is expected of them and have a genuine concern for the residents they serve. The Board is a volunteer board of trustees, who are active business leaders in the community, and have a heart for service as well.

Many times in life, we are ready to move forward to get the things we think will be good for us; things that will cause us joy. We have blinders on when it comes to getting what we want and do not think about what we will need to get it. Sometimes our choices are not so good. We need to think on the scripture about God’s plans for us that are for our good. We need to trust in His plans. His plans will not hurt others. Pray that God helps you to see the doors that He will open for you.

Father God, Open my heart and my mind to Your plans for me. Let me show others love in all that I do. Let Your light shine through me. Let someone else want the peace that You alone can give. Guide me in what I do and say to bring all glory and honor to You. Thank You for Your love, protection and guidance in my life. It is in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Life is a puzzle and we have to put it together one piece at a time. At times we lose direction of where we are to go and what we are to do. These times we need to pray and open our heart to the Holy Spirit, so that He may lead us to those in need of hope. We can offer hope in a troubled world, even when we can see nothing good happening. We know the finished product of this puzzle and it is living in paradise with our Lord and Creator.

Father God, Give me a positive demeanor, even when things look bleak. Show me how to give hope to those who have lost their way. Help me to direct them to You for all of their needs. Fill them with the hope that only You can give. Let them feel loved and protected by You. Lift them up, so they can feel the promises in Your love. Let them feel sunshine on their cloudiest days. Matthew 7:13-14 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Our purpose on this earth is not to see what God can do for us, but what we can do for God. We all have a purpose in this life and God will use each of us differently as He gives us talents to do His work. He will send us the Holy Spirit to prompt us and to help us do what God has planned for us. Nothing is too big or too small for our God. We need to read and study the Word of God, so that it becomes our truth. We will have His assurance when we are following the course He has set before us.

Father God, Thank You for Your presence in my life. I need to feel Your presence daily. You take away my fears and replace them with Your reassurance and peace. You give me courage when I face things that frighten me. You are my peace and my strength. Thank You for protecting me from the evil one. Thank You for picking me up as I fall and make mistakes. 1 Corinthians 10:13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 6:10-18 – Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Satan is busy trying to get people to turn away from God and to sin against their Creator. He uses things that carnal man wants and tempts them into turning way from righteousness to lying, cheating, stealing or coveting our neighbor’s goods. It is easy to believe that you deserve those things, even to the point of turning away from God. One little sin can turn into several little sins which develop into bigger sins. Any sin is an offense to our God who has given us so much, so we must stay ready to avoid the tricks of Satan.

Father God, I am sorry for hurting You and being tempted by Satan. Help me to be ready and strong so that I may turn away from Satan’s lies. Let me represent You well, so that I show mercy and love to my fellow man. Thank You for the Scripture that helps give me the understanding I need. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who leads and guides me in this life. It is in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Psalms 55:22 – Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Matthew 11:28-29 – Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Galatians 6:2 – Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Psalms 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

There are so many things in this life that cause us grief and some weigh us down and steal our joy. They usually have to do with relationships. It is important that we forgive easily so that these upsets do not separate us from loving other people. That is a trick of Satan. If he can separate God’s people, he can separate us from our Creator. Be kind in all that you do and reach out to others as they are going through hard times.

Father God, let me be aware when my brothers or sisters are hurting. Let me lighten their burdens as You lighten my burdens just by talking to You. Thank You for always listening to all of my fears and lightening my burdens. I trust that You will always help me through tough times. It is in Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
