ACCORD's Food Pantry will be open 9:00 AM–4:30 PM (closed 12:00–12:30 PM) on Thursday, November 13 and Monday, November 17.

👉 Households must complete an intake and provide copies of household income for grant reporting.

Today, we honor the impact of Dr. Ruth Fox. Dr. Ruth Fox pioneered the field of addiction medicine in the 1950's, which was a time when societal norms prohibited women from participating and contributing to esteemed fields, such as medicine.

Dr. Ruth Fox surpassed barriers in addiction research, advocacy, and innovation. She became the first medical director of The National Council on Alcoholism, founder and first president of the American Medical Society on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies, was a renowned psychoanalyst, and a prolific author.
