Meet Barb Andre-Van Lith, Founder of the Downtown Kitchen
A well-known figure in the Wenatchee Valley food scene, Barb has been a dedicated and passionate leader in the culinary industry since 1993. She launched her career as one of the ambitious, young co-owners of the beloved Cellar Café, where she quickly made a name for herself through creativity, hospitality, and a deep love of food.
For the past sixteen years, Barb has continued to build on that foundation as the owner of Ring-A-Bells Catering, where she has brought countless events to life with memorable meals and exceptional service. Her passion has always extended beyond the plate. She is a firm believer in the power of food to connect people and build community.
Throughout her career, Barb has mentored and coached other food entrepreneurs, helping them turn their visions into thriving businesses. With the launch of the Downtown Kitchen, a shared commissary kitchen space in the heart of Wenatchee, she’s turning that passion into a mission: to empower other food-based businesses by providing access to an affordable, fully equipped commercial kitchen in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Downtown Kitchen is more than just a place to cook; it’s a hub for community, innovation, and opportunity. Barb’s goal is to enhance the local food ecosystem thoughtfully, encouraging cooperation and connection among small business owners, chefs, and culinary creatives. Throughout this beautiful new space, she hopes to support Wenatchee Valley’s growing food culture and spur greater community engagement throughout the region.
