Alatheia Riding Center Alatheia empowers individuals through Equine Assisted Services in North Central Washington. Join us in transforming lives with our Norwegian Fjord horses.

We offer therapeutic riding, veteran support, and life/work skills for adults with disabilities. Alatheia Riding Center changes lives with the healing power of horses. Since 2011 we have served children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities and veterans from four North Central Washington Counties. Alatheia exclusively uses beautiful and gentle Norwegian Fjord horses, trained instructors and a dedicated team of volunteers to provide services. We are a member center of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International.

We did it!

Our 2026 Spring Riding Session is officially underway, and we had a wonderful first day on Monday. Smiles, reconnecting, and a few happy horses made for such a wonderful day.

We are so grateful for our riders, volunteers, staff, and horses who make days like this possible. Happy spring everyone! 🐴🌱

There’s something powerful that happens when art and purpose come together.

Courageously Created is more than a juried fine art show. It is a celebration of expression, resilience, and the stories that connect us all. And it directly supports the life-changing work happening every day at Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center.

We are inviting artists to be part of this meaningful experience.

Your work will be seen, experienced, and may find a new home through our silent auction. Even more, it will help us move closer to completing our new facility and expanding access to programs for riders, Veterans, and families who are waiting with disabilities.

It’s truly wonderful to have such a great team as we prepare to launch the 2026 therapeutic riding season!
Staff, along with a few of our amazing Ranch Hands and volunteers helped clean our indoor arena yesterday. Dirt, dust, and odor are pretty standard and unavoidable with horse riding but we at least made a dent in the arena and it feels great!
We can’t wait to have our riders back in the arena. 🐴❤️
