Join us for Episode #4- with Linda Congdon "Planted by Love💗- One Woman’s Journey to Find her Birth Mother" on the podcast "Live Well. Be Wise." Listen Here or anywhere you get your podcasts: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2261618/episodes/17392246

A community-based podcast highlighting the stories of those learning to live well, through hardship, in North Central WA!

At 38 years old, Linda heard the voice of God say to her, “you have a natural father, you think of it as a closed book, but it’s an open book to me.” This is where her journey began, thirty two years ago.

Linda shares how she worked with the Washington state agency, Washington Adoption Reunion Movement (WARM) to find her birth mother. How after about a year and a half waiting to hear news, one day she received a call from the agency, saying, “we found your birth mother, she will be calling you in about 20-minutes.” Hear how she reacted to the news and what happens when they meet a few months later.🫣

Thank you SO much, End of Life Washington, for sharing this out to your followers! Scott's story is so beautiful and my podcast, "Live Well. Be Wise" was honored to host it and share it out to our community. Hopefully we never have access issues like this in our region again, for those wishing to choose Death With Dignity. Thank you for all that you do! And for helping Scott and his family honor his mom Pat🥰

🎧 Listen In
Scott Kreiter shares his powerful and heartfelt journey in this podcast episode, as he supports his mother in accessing Washington’s Death with Dignity Act—with the help of End of Life Washington.
This moving story highlights not only one woman’s humor, strength, and independence, but also the real challenges of accessing end-of-life care in Eastern Washington.

⚠️ A note from End of Life Washington:
While the podcast captures the essence of our mission, there are some slight inaccuracies. End of Life Washington cannot "do everything," but we are deeply committed to removing barriers and supporting clients as they navigate end-of-life choices. As you’ll hear, Scott and his mother spent a year seeking supportive providers before connecting with our team.

📄 Explore your values:
At the end of the podcast, Scott shares a personal list of how he wants to live. If this resonates with you, we invite you to explore our Values Worksheet as you reflect on your own health care preferences and prepare your advance care documents.

Hello Summer Solstice! Finding Doses of Inspiration💥💫 - https://mailchi.mp/1383ee6d1d69/summersolstice-inspire

For me this time of year is about energy going out. Going out to see friends, going out to play on the water, going out to hear music, to hike in the mountains. With all this energy going out we must take time to replenish and repair when we can find stillness.....Click and read On Friends!

Join us for Episode #3 "Scott Kreiter–Local Man Who Killed His Wife, Oh I Mean Killed His Mother!" on the podcast "Live Well. Be Wise." A community-based podcast highlighting the stories of those learning to live well, through hardship, in North Central WA!

We wrangled Scott Kreiter into the studio today to share his deeply personal and courageous story about helping his mom remain independent to the last moment--to choose death with dignity. (And no he didn’t kill anyone!)

Scott calls himself a neanderthal, not someone who is a deep thinker, but honestly we decided this show proves him wrong! With humor and depth he walks us through the stark reality of having your mom call you at 6 am the day after Christmas and say, "today's the day."

In spite of one of life's hardest events, tune in for a hearty laugh or two inspired from the heart. If you know Scott then you already know what I'm talking about!

Hear about how the final day inlcuded Rob Roy, Willie Nelson, and a crushable triple word score on the Scrabble board, fully curated by Scotts mom, Pat.

After all, this is how we connect as humans and drop into the real in our own lives--by hearing the real in anothers. Let's share, connect, learn & grow!
