Ep-10 "We Will Know a Tree by its Fruits" of Wenatchee Valley's, "Live Well. Be Wise" podcast! Meet Zoe Jaspers and hear about how he walked into the Christian faith and how it became the safe and supportive community that allowed him to explore his faithful journey across gender!

LISTEN NOW: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2261618/episodes/18254164

If there is someone out there who can humbly be in service to connecting the people inside the trans experience and those outside of it--it is Zoe Jaspers. With curiosity and vulnerability Zoe teaches us how to have hard conversations when someone appears to be different than us.

Zoe walks us through multiple pathways to understanding: in terms of Christian scripture and theology, as well as simply through his lived experience. He unpacks concepts around co-creation, resurrection, “knowing a tree by its fruits,” and more

Please join us friends and neighbors, as we cross this bridge of understanding with compassion and curiosity —together. You don't want to miss meeting this neighbor🤩💙

What a beautiful offering for our community! Thank you☺️

What a beautiful offering for our community! Thank you☺️

It’s been an intention of mine since I lived in Ohio and attended my first Death Cafe to launch one here in Wenatchee. Along with the synchronicity of fellow kindred spirits, it’s finally happening ☠️🙏🏼🖤

The first Death Cafe Wenatchee will be on Wednesday, November 5th from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the Vet’s Hall in downtown Wenatchee.

Death Cafe’s are a world-wide movement to create intentional gatherings in which to discuss all things death and dying. It is not a support group nor a therapy group. It is a peer-to-peer gathering to talk about the common experience we will all have at some point - the death of our own self and/or the death of others in our lives.

If you or someone you know might benefit from being in a safe, supportive environment and get something (many things??) off your chest about death and dying or just listen to others, please join us.

All are welcome.

Ep-9 of Wenatchee Valley's Community-Based Podcast, "Live Well. Be Wise" just Dropped! Meet Jaime Donegan and hear what happened in his life when he started saying, Today is Your Day!

LISTEN NOW: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2261618/episodes/18083305

In today’s selfie obsessed and “what about my my reward” dopamine addicted culture, it can be hard to discern the difference between ego-driven or empowered. In this conversation Dorrinda and I had with Jaime Donegan you not only hear the difference, but you can feel it.

He shares about finding his voice for the very first time. Not the kind that is agenda driven and loudly voicing a non-negotiated opinion, but a voice that led him down a path to his life’s purpose. A voice that helped him fulfill his life’s mission. To create art, create community and create a life that he wanted to live.

You don't want to miss this incredibly inspiring story of one man's journey to living a life he dreamed into reality 🤩💙
