You know what I probably shouldn't have but I looked into the China incident with Blizzard. All that s**t did was p**s me off...and before you think you know why I'm mad let me state my position. I feel for the people and I do wish they can be free like every human deserves. I also do not agree with the extent of the punishment issued by Blizzard but, I do believe something needed to happen. Formalities out the way...I also can't in fairness to myself as an African American male in America really give too much attention to it. People are executing Blizzard for what they did to someone in another country for expressing his opinion and wanting a change on the platform he had that could get the most attention. Which should be completely fair and justified. On that same note I'm a bit rusty but I'm pretty sure that we as a Democratic Republic should be a shining example of that. Yet when one of our own citizens tried to use the platform he had as a means to stand up for the injustices and rights of the African American people in America we were the same ones that were outraged. Screaming that politics shouldn't be in sports. So now please someone explain to me why we have congress writing "for shame" letters to Blizzard over this. Where was our letter when he was forced to stop playing football? We are talking career ending and not a year suspension. For taking a stand for what he believed in. All this while being a citizen of this "free" country we are so proud of. If you still don't see the issue with this after getting another perspective...then my fellow American you are the reason Black Lives Matter is a movement. Can we get a response Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Marco Rubio Ron Wyden or anyone else that may want to reply. I'm open to seeing other views to further polish my own ideals.
