If you’re passionate about supporting families, behavioral health, and community wellbeing — and want hands-on experience in a meaningful role — this could be the perfect fit.

What you’ll do:
➡️ Support program coordination and community outreach
➡️ Help strengthen behavioral health and family-support services
➡️ Engage directly with families, youth, and community partners
➡️ Build real-world skills in behavioral health work and bilingual communication (Spanish a plus!)

What we’re looking for:
✔ Strong communication skills
✔ Interest in community work, behavioral health, or social services
✔ Bilingual English/Spanish

📣📣📣 CAFE is working with the Criminal Justice Training Commission to gather information from our immigrant community to better understand and improve law enforcement interactions.
If you know someone interested in sharing their story/ies (good and not-so-good), please share with them that they can share their stories

Their stories will remain anonymous, and they will receive a $30 gift card.

Emerging small businesses located within the North Central Washington region are encouraged to submit their small business to this competition where the winner takes $10,000 + in-kind services and products to help them grow and navigate their start-up business.

This competition is open to small business start-ups within the NCW region, including Chelan, Okanogan, Douglas, Ferry Counties and Colville Confederated Tribes.

The application portal to submit your business for the 2023 competition will open January 4th thru February 17th.

Elia shared this picture of her coworker taking out the freshly picked grapes from the fields in Bakersfield CA. For the wheelbarrow person, each load can weigh 100-125 pounds and this will be done dozens of times throughout the day.

Elia compartió esta foto de su compañero de trabajo sacando uvas recién cosechadas de los campos en Bakersfield CA. Para el carretillero, cada carga puede pesar entre 100 y 125 libras y esto se hará docenas de veces a lo largo del día.
