Zebulon Drug has been an anchor of downtown Zebulon since 1905 - and in that century has served thousands of families. n 101 years there have only been three owners - all respected residents of the Zebulon community who have all invested their lives in this special store. Tad and Lou Anne Adams bought Zebulon Drug Company in 1986. Zebulon Drug's gift division, Sycamore Crossing, expanded into its new facility in 1996. In 2002 Wendell Drug opened it's doors and in 2006 Bunn Drug was founded. Growth in our part of North Carolina is booming - new roads, new neighborhoods, new folks and lots of huge boxy chain pharmacies on every corner. Some drug stores feature expensive buildings in the middle of town, aisles piled high with anything from dog food to lawn chairs. You may find that having a prescription filled at one of these stores takes hours or even days. You have a better choice. Zebulon, Wendell and Bunn drugstores all are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and in many cases, faster, more efficient computer systems than chain pharmacies. Our pharmacists are all members of this community and are your neighbors and friends. We know you - we want to know you. And as for independent verses "big chain discount " pricing? A Code Red air quality alert is in effect today in Wendell due to smoke from the wildfires in Canada. This alert indicates a threat to everyone, not just people with breathing issues. Try to limit your time outdoors, if possible. Be Safe Wendell.

All customers can call 919-269-7481 to request refill requests or get delivery or any general information.

Beginning Monday, May 22 Wendell Drug customers will be serviced from Zebulon Drug Company.
All patient records and information are safe in our systems, doctor's calls will automatically forward to Zebulon Drug.
To help with this transition we are happy to offer enhanced home delivery and will make every effort to welcome each customer to Zebulon, whether at our convenient drivethru or in our lobby.

A distressing edit here: a disgruntled former employee who was terminated several years ago is making comments and solicitations to comments left by legitimate messengers. While we realize each customer must find the best fit for a new pharmacy, advocating a competitor while using a "borrowed" and untruthful profile out of years of missplaced spite should be taken with a very large grain of salt.

After 38 years, Tad and LouAnne Adams, owners of Zebulon and Wendell Drug Companies, have had an opportunity to sell their company to two independent pharmacy owners, Neal O'Neal and Dylan Hubert. LouAnne and Tad are thrilled to continue an independent drugstore tradition that began on 1905.

We know this will be a inconvenience for many Wendell patients but we will strive to make this transition as seamless as possible.
