She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and works closely with Dr. MacKinnon as her consulting physician.

After working as a nurse for 13 years in Surgical Intensive Care Units, GYN Oncology, and ENT Oncology, at area hospitals including Duke, Durham VA and Wake Med, Gina earned her Masters of Nursing degree from Duke University in 2000. She has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary and Acute Care medical offices in Eastern Wake County for over 23 years. Gina's approach to treating

her patient's is welcoming them in like family. She believes that establishing a relationship by listening to their needs and explaining health care on a patient's level is essential in truly taking care of them. She wants all to feel welcomed and comfortable during appointments which often end with a smile, joke and laugh. In her free time Gina enjoys traveling with her husband Jeffrey of 39 years her 3 children and the newest edition to the Farringer family, their beloved French Bull Dog Louie.

As many of our beloved patient's know, Garrett left for medical school back in the summer! In order to support this exciting journey with him our office will be CLOSED tomorrow as we celebrate him receiving his white coat! We wish him the absolute best throughout medical school and look forward to him becoming a Doctor.

Join us as we welcome back Stacey Allred FNP-C AGACNP-BC!

After being a nurse in ICU for 15 years Stacey received her FNP from UNC-W and her AGACNP-BC from Duke. She has been practicing medicine as a nurse practitioner for 9 years at Duke Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital and is a current full time NP at Wake Med for the Surgery and Trauma Dept.

Stacey is an amazing Nurse Practitioner with plenty of knowledge and experience who is passionate about providing the best care possible for patients. If you see her in clinic we can assure you, you are in great hands!

We are very excited to have her back with us part time!
