MyNadine Yoga
When the body is stable and at ease and the mind ceases to whirl. Prenatal Yoga, Virtual one on Hello! I'm Nadine. In 2017 I became Reiki attuned.

After practicing yoga for almost twenty years, I felt there was much more to learn. I found Jane's House of Well Being and fell in love with the atmosphere and teachings. In 2015, I began the 200 hour teacher training and have been practicing and teaching formally for almost five years. I used this knowledge to deepen my practice and work in the field of holistic healing and energy work. In the spring of 2015, I became certified in the aromatouch technique. In 2018 I completed the 85 hour teacher training for prenatal yoga. I look forward to meeting you and discussing how I can help you on your own journey.

🍂 Ayurveda Tips for the Fall Season 🍂

As we shift from summer’s fiery Pitta energy into fall’s cool, breezy vibes, Ayurveda reminds us to keep balance by grounding and nourishing ourselves.

✨ Choose warm, cooked meals like soups and roasted veggies.

✨ Add healthy oils and warming spices (ginger, cinnamon, turmeric).

✨ Stay hydrated with herbal teas and warm water.

✨ Try daily self-massage (abhyanga) with sesame or almond oil to calm dryness.

✨ Treat yourself to an Ayurveda treatment like a nourishing scalp massage or facial.

✨ Keep a steady routine for meals, movement, and rest.

Fall is the season of Vata—airy, light, and a little unpredictable. Grounding practices help us feel steady and supported through the seasonal shift.🍃🎑

🍁 How are you grounding yourself this fall?

🍂✨ As summer’s fiery Pitta season begins to cool, we transition into the airy, light, and dry qualities of Vata season.

This shift can affect both body and mind:
🌬️ You might notice more dryness in your skin or joints
🌪️ A racing mind or restless sleep
🍵 A craving for warmth and grounding routines

Ayurveda reminds us that balance comes from working with the seasons. To ease into Vata time:
🥘 Nourish with warm, cooked meals
🧘 Slow down with grounding practices like yoga or meditation
💆 Hydrate skin and body with oils and massage
🌿 Keep cozy rituals that support steadiness

This is the perfect season to care for your nervous system, ground your energy, and prepare your body for the cooler months ahead.

🌊 Let me help you stay balanced this season—your body will thank you.🩵

✏️📚 Parents, you survived summer break—time for YOUR recess! 📚✏️

The kids are back in school, which means… you finally get a moment to breathe (and maybe even drink your coffee while it’s hot ☕🙌).

Now’s the perfect time to treat yourself to a little grown-up reward: a massage! 💆‍♀️✨

Think of it as your gold star for making it through summer schedules, snack requests every 10 minutes, and answering the question “Can I have a snack?” approximately 5,482 times. 🍎😂

👉 Book your back-to-school massage—you’ve earned it! 🌊🩵

Your Body Remembers What the Mind Tries to Forget

Emotions don’t just live in your mind—they take up residence in your muscles, your fascia, your breath.
The tension in your shoulders, the tightness in your jaw, the heaviness in your chest… sometimes that’s not just stress.
It’s emotion. Memory. Unprocessed energy asking to be seen, felt, and released.

Bodywork is more than physical—it’s emotional liberation.
With each breath, each gentle release, your body begins to whisper truths it’s held onto for too long.
Grief softens. Anger dissolves. Joy finds space again.

It’s not just massage.
It’s a return to self. A remembering. A reclaiming.

🩵 Come back home to your body.
You deserve to feel free, from the inside out.

🌊 Ready to release what no longer serves you?
Book your session today and start your healing journey—mind, body, and soul.

Myofascial Release (MFR) can be incredibly beneficial for postpartum recovery because it addresses the physical and emotional shifts that occur during and after pregnancy. Here's why:

🌊Benefits of Myofascial Release for Postpartum Healing:🩵

1. Supports Core & Pelvic Recovery

Pregnancy and childbirth put strain on the core and pelvic floor. MFR helps release fascial restrictions in these areas, aiding in muscle function, posture, and stability.

2. Eases Scar Tissue & C-Section Recovery

Gentle MFR can reduce adhesions and restrictions from C-section or perineal scars, improving mobility and decreasing discomfort.

3. Relieves Pain & Tension

Common postpartum complaints like back pain, neck tension (from feeding and holding baby), and hip discomfort can be alleviated through targeted fascial work.

4. Promotes Circulation & Lymphatic Flow

MFR boosts circulation, supporting tissue healing and reducing swelling—especially helpful after labor and delivery.

5. Supports Emotional Release

The fascia holds more than just physical tension. MFR can help release stored emotional stress, offering a sense of relief and reconnection.

6. Encourages Gentle Reconnection to the Body

Many postpartum people feel disconnected from their bodies. MFR offers a nurturing, body-centered way to tune back in with awareness and care.
