MyNadine Yoga
When the body is stable and at ease and the mind ceases to whirl. Prenatal Yoga, Virtual one on Hello! I'm Nadine. In 2017 I became Reiki attuned.

After practicing yoga for almost twenty years, I felt there was much more to learn. I found Jane's House of Well Being and fell in love with the atmosphere and teachings. In 2015, I began the 200 hour teacher training and have been practicing and teaching formally for almost five years. I used this knowledge to deepen my practice and work in the field of holistic healing and energy work. In the sp

ring of 2015, I became certified in the aromatouch technique. In 2018 I completed the 85 hour teacher training for prenatal yoga. I look forward to meeting you and discussing how I can help you on your own journey.

šŸŒ‘ New Moon in Leo ā™Œ
Bold heart. Clear vision. Unapologetically me.

This New Moon isn’t quiet—she’s fierce, fiery, and full of potential. Leo reminds us to take up space, to lead with love, and to show up fully lit from within.

I’m letting go of dimming my light for anyone.
I’m setting intentions that match the version of me I’m stepping into.
I’m feeling myself—loudly, proudly, and with purpose.

If you’ve been waiting for a cosmic moment to own your magic, this is it.

šŸ”„ Feel yourself.
šŸ”„ Speak your truth.
šŸ”„ Take the stage of your life.

Why Hydration Matters After Myofascial Release šŸ’§

After a myofascial release session, your body has done some deep internal work—releasing tension, softening restrictions, and improving mobility. But there's one essential step you don’t want to skip afterward: hydration.

✨ Why it’s important:
Myofascial release encourages the fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs) to let go of built-up tension and metabolic waste. Drinking plenty of water afterward helps your body flush out those toxins and supports the healing process.

šŸ’¦ What hydration does for you:

Aids in reducing post-treatment soreness

Keeps fascia pliable and healthy

Supports circulation and lymphatic flow

Enhances the benefits of your session

šŸ“Œ Pro Tip: Aim for extra water the day of your session and continue to sip regularly over the next couple of days.

Think of it like this: we just helped your body "clear out the clutter"—now give it the clean water it needs to refresh and renew from the inside out. šŸ’™

✨ Book your next session and keep your healing momentum going. Your fascia—and your future self—will thank you.

Using essential oils during a massage can enhance both the physical and emotional benefits of the experience. Here’s why:

🌿 1. Enhances Relaxation

Essential oils like lavender, ylang ylang, or Clary sage have calming properties. When inhaled or absorbed through the skin, they help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, encouraging deep relaxation.

šŸ’†ā€ā™€ļø 2. Boosts the Massage’s Therapeutic Effects

Some oils are anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain-relieving), or warming. For example:

Deep Blue: soothes sore muscles

Eucalyptus: eases respiratory tension and boosts circulation

🧠 3. Supports Emotional Well-Being

The olfactory system (your sense of smell) is closely linked to memory and emotion. Scents can uplift your mood, reduce anxiety, or even help with grief or mental fatigue.

🧓 4. Nourishes the Skin

When blended properly with a carrier oil (like coconut or h**p), essential oils can also moisturize and tone the skin.

āš–ļø 5. Customizable Experience

Each essential oil blend can be tailored to your individual needs—whether you want more energy, deeper sleep, stress relief, or immune support.

Note: It’s important to avoid certain ones if pregnant or dealing with medical conditions.

Burnout Isn’t Just in Your Mind—It’s in Your Body

Feeling depleted, wired but tired, or just not like yourself lately?
Your nervous system and hormones might be calling out for deeper support.

Massage therapy isn’t just about muscle tension—it can also help regulate the stress response, support adrenal balance, and create space for the body to return to homeostasis.

Here’s how:
✨ Calms the nervous system, reducing cortisol spikes
✨ Supports lymphatic flow and detox pathways
✨ Encourages better sleep and mood stability
✨ Aids in releasing stored tension from the fascia and gut
✨ Promotes circulation to endocrine-rich areas like the abdomen and pelvis

Whether you're navigating chronic stress, peri/menopause, or simply craving balance—your body deserves time to reset. Massage can be a powerful ally in your healing journey. šŸ’†šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

🩵 Gentle reminder: you don’t need to ā€œpush through.ā€ Your body is wise, and it responds beautifully to care.

✨ Not everyone will see your light.
And that’s okay.

Some are simply not in a place to recognize brilliance—especially when it shines from a place they’ve never dared to explore.

Don’t dim yourself for those who choose not to look.
Don’t shrink for the comfort of someone still sitting in their own shadows.

Your light isn’t meant for everyone.
It’s meant for those who need it.
For those who are ready to receive it.

Keep glowing. Keep growing.
The right souls will feel you before they even see you.

Gentle summer reminder ā˜€ļø

Why massage is generally not recommended for sunburns: 🚫

Increased sensitivity:😣
Sunburned skin is very sensitive and fragile, and massage can cause further irritation and pain.

Risk of damage:ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹
The peeling skin is already damaged and trying to heal. Massage can accelerate peeling or damage the new skin underneath, potentially leading to infection.

Increased risk of infection: šŸ’Š
Peeling skin exposes the underlying tissue, making it more vulnerable to bacteria and infection.
When massage might be considered:
After the initial sunburn has healed:
Once the redness, pain, and tenderness have subsided, gentle massage with hydrating oils can help replenish moisture and support the healing process.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage can be used to reduce swelling and promote healing after the initial inflammation has gone down.

If you have any questions or concerns about whether massage is appropriate for your sunburn, consult with me.

Avoid peeling the skin!
Let the peeling skin come off naturally. Avoid pulling or picking at it, as this can cause further damage.
Protect your skin.Once the sunburn has started to peel, protect your skin from further sun exposure with clothing, shade, and sunscreen.

Hydrate and moisturize.Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using a moisturizer.

How to Make the Most of Your Massage šŸ’†šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøāœØ

A massage is more than a moment of relaxation—it’s a reset for your body and mind. To truly get the most out of your session:

🌿 Arrive a few minutes early – Give yourself time to breathe, settle in, and transition out of the busy day.

šŸ’§ Hydrate – Before and after. Water helps your body flush out the tension and toxins massage work can release.

šŸ§˜šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø Breathe deeply and let go – The more you relax, the deeper the work can go. You don’t need to ā€œdoā€ anything—just be present.

šŸ—£ļø Speak up – Your comfort matters. Pressure, temperature, music—this is your time.

šŸ«¶šŸ½ Give yourself space afterward – If you can, avoid rushing back into stress. Let the effects sink in.

Every massage is a chance to return home to your body. Be intentional, and your body will thank you.

Emotions May Arise—And That’s Okay

Massage therapy doesn’t just release tension from your muscles—it can also unlock stored emotions.
⁣
Have you ever found yourself feeling weepy, deeply relaxed, or even unexpectedly joyful during or after a session? That’s not unusual.
⁣
Our bodies hold memories and emotions, especially in places where we carry stress or trauma. As those tight areas begin to release, so too can the emotions attached to them.
⁣
Tears, laughter, silence, or simply a deep breath—these are all part of the healing process. There is no right or wrong way to feel.
⁣
Massage can be a powerful reminder that healing isn’t just physical. It's emotional, too. And in this space, you're safe to let it all move through you.

šŸŒ€ Feel. Breathe. Release. Repeat.
