Weslaco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine's Day! Residents were showered with flowers, sweet cards, and heart pillows — and we are so thankful for the generous donations that made it all possible!

A special thank you to the students from South Texas Vo-Tech for stopping by with beautiful flowers and spending time visiting with patients and residents. We also loved the festive tunes from Southern Comfort Kitchen Band and the thoughtful Valentine's cards delivered by the Weslaco Royal Court! 👑💌

Team members had a wonderful time at the 5th Annual Mid-Valley Health & Wellness Fair at Knapp Medical Center, hosted by the Aurora House Foundation!

We loved being part of the Heart-to-Heart Wellness Fair and connecting with so many community members about our skilled nursing services and clinical capabilities. A special thank you to Miss Weslaco 2026 and Miss Texas Onion Fest 2026 for stopping by our table to say hello! 👑✨

🎲 It was all fun and games this week with a very special visit from the National Honor Society of Monte Alto Early College High School. Residents enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and board games, along with some pampering, by getting their nails polished with a color of their choice! 💅

What a game! 🏈 Win or lose, we had a great time watching the Big Game together! Residents and patients enjoyed game-day favorites like chili hot dogs, popcorn, pickles, sodas, and even non-alcoholic beverages! We had a blast! 🎉

We had some special visitors this week! 🎉 Students from WEHSWildcats Club HOSA stopped by to spend time with patients and residents and play a few lively rounds of lotería. There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great conversation all around!
