In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, BHWC's Chaplain Reid recently hosted a community Pet Blessing. Team members and community guests, including local ranchers, were invited to bring their furry (and feathered) companions to receive blessings of protection and appreciation. Photos of pets unable to attend were placed on a display board so that they too could be included. Special thanks to Chaplain Reid for his efforts in coordinating this heartfelt event and for his words of comfort in recognizing the value of our beloved animal companions.

We are pleased to Welcome Dr. Carlos Mandujano to BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel!

Dr. Mandujano is board certified in family medicine and has joined the BayCare Medical Group practice at 4501 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., in Wesley Chapel, Florida where he sees patients age 18 and older. He cares for adult and geriatric patients, where he emphasizes prevention, as well as treatment and believes in continuously educating his patients on how to enhance their health and well-being. Dr. Mandujano takes the time to answer patients’ questions and explains health conditions, treatments and follow-up needs. He’s certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Mandujano earned a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from Universidad Católica de Honduras in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, completed a family medicine residency at the University of North Dakota in Bismarck, North Dakota, and performed a geriatric medicine fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
