Savithri Bhamidipati, M.D., provides family services at our Wesley Chapel location as a member of the Department of Internal Medicine at LoCicero Health. Dr. Bhamidipati is board certified in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. She has an extensive range of experience in clinical private practice and hospitals.
Dr. Bhamidipati graduated with his Doctoral degree from the Guntur Medical College of Guntur, A.P. India in 1976. She completed his internship at Government General Hospital in Guntur, A.P., India in 1977. Once she completed her internship, she went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Sisters of the Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York in 1980. She completed additional Residency programs at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for Psychiatry in 1982 and Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, New Jersey for Family Practice in 1987.
Since Dr. Bhamidipati has been practicing medicine, she has had a vast and very high-level spectrum of experience. In 1984, she was the staff Psychiatrist at Catchment Area Community Mental Health Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1988, she was an ER Physician at Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In 2004, she was staff Physician in a group practice for Medical One in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In 2006, she was a staff Physician at Bayside Prison/Southern State Division in Delmont, New Jersey. In 2011, she was a staff Physician at Complete Care Health Network in Capemay Court House, New Jersey. In 2020, she was a staff Physician at VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
In 2021, Dr. Bhamidipati joined the LoCicero Health Department of Internal Medicine department at our Wesley Chapel location. Dr. Bhamidipati has experience in routine medical evaluations, acute medical care, medication management, management of chronic medical diseases, and preventive medicine. Dr. Bhamidipati has been in leadership positions at every stop of his medical journey. LoCiciero Health is happy to have Dr. Bhamidipati join the family.
