Please join us in celebrating Joseph Cortes, our March Employee of the Month!

Joseph joined Blue Heron Senior Living after previously working at a restaurant in Tampa. With a desire to make a difference and work more closely with seniors, he brought his energy and compassion to our community—and we’re so glad he did! He shares that he is incredibly proud to receive this Employee of the Month recognition.

Joseph contributes to our team’s success by making sure every resident is smiling and having fun, no matter the activity. His positive attitude and enthusiasm help create a joyful environment for everyone around him.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys playing pickleball, working out, playing video games, and running. He is currently working toward his goal of graduating in two years and becoming a Registered Nurse, continuing his passion for helping others.

Fun fact: Joseph is afraid of rats—so it’s safe to say Ratatouille would NOT be his favorite movie!

He lives by the motto, “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” a mindset that reflects his optimism and drive each day.

Congratulations again, Joseph, on being Blue Heron’s Employee of the Month for March! We’re so proud to have you on our team!

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with a special party, enjoying the joyful music from Just Us Duo.

It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness.

Easter reminds us of hope, renewal, and the beauty of sharing special moments with those we care about. We are so grateful for these precious memories with our community!
