Sleep Apnea can cause the body to be deprived of air for up to a minute several hundred times a night. Loud snorers have a 70% chance of having sleep apnea.

70% of loud snorers have Sleep Apnea. Snoring and Sleep Apnea are caused by the collapse of the airway in the back of the throat. If it collapses partially, snoring occurs. If it collapses totally, no air gets in, and sleep apnea occurs.
