Wow! What a great week we had with our FIRST ever Makers Market Event on Monday and today was the All Abilities Craft Fair.

It was a week full of opportunities to interact with our community members, family, friends and beyond.

We’re so very thankful for our continued support of our community, because of your support this week, we were able to raise $2,017 to help support our program.

This allows us to continue to provide unique experiences, opportunities, lessons and equipment to our participants each and every day. Thank you for helping us be RAD!

Happy Thursday! This morning we had a fun painting class. We painted our own version of the sunset.

Then this afternoon we had our next class with Pink Umbrella Theater Company!

Peter had another great day of volunteering in the preschool room!

One of the preschoolers even made him a penguin!

We are busy preparing for Disability Advocacy Day next month. Today we talked about why it is important to advocate for things that are important to us. We also learned how to find out who our representatives are. We talked about the services and supports we use that allow us to be active and engaged in our community!

What an active Tuesday! Today we had Zumba! Ryan & Emily love helping lead the class every time. We also had fun in the gym today playing soccer or being on the track.

We see some familiar faces here!! We are so thankful for our continued friendship with WAWM Community Transition Services and so many of our RAD Participants were or are students in the program!

It is such a great way our community and West Allis-West Milwaukee School District continues to support our students and participants as life long learners through these great opportunities and experiences!

Today our kitchen crew made breakfast pizzas and smoothies for lunch.
We also had fun today with volunteers from Marquette High School, they hung out with us in the gym! 🏀
