🐰 Elmer Fudd? At VMP?

What a memorable time at our annual Think Pink Luncheon! We learned so much from our wonderful speakers about preventing, treating, and recovering from Breast cancer. We awed over the wonderful clothing available in Act 2. We laughed over that silly hunter who can never catch that sly wabbit.😉 Thank you to everyone who attended, spoke, modeled, and acted! All proceeds of the event supported the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Each year, we gather to celebrate those who bring light into our lives and to share that light with one another. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special tradition.

Why "Be a Light"?

During the height of COVID-19, our VMP community came together to bring hope, connection, and kindness to one another. This 8-minute video shows the heart of that first event and why the tradition still matters today.

Watch the video and join us this Wednesday, October 15th, for our 5th annual Be a Light Luminary & Harvest Festival to celebrate the light we can all share. 💛

Back in October 2020 the Be a Light Luminary Celebration took place here on the VMP campus. This event, inspired by Thomas Rhett's song Be a Light, served as...

This remarkable photo from the late 1920s or early 1930s captures three of the original residents of Elmore Methodist Home for the Aged.

That home, located at 11th and Kilbourn in Milwaukee, was where our story began.

All three women were in their 90s and had spent their lives serving as deaconesses. Their strength, compassion, and lifelong dedication to others helped shape the spirit of care that still defines VMP today.

A century later, we’re proud to carry their legacy forward.

Thank you to Creative Enterprises for framing the photo in a beautifully vintage style.
