Mothering the Mother (Father and Family) is a non-profit organization in Milwaukee and Racine Counties that believes ALL families should have access to quality birth professionals regardless of their situation. We are a resource center for ALL family members, and offer referrals to birth professionals for free. We provide a variety of childbirth preparation classes, lactation support, mentors, and
referrals to birth and postpartum doulas. All services can be accessed on a sliding scale depending on the individual family's circumstances. We also work within the community - collaborating with other organizations to provide the best resources available to serve the needs of the families we work with. We realize that parenthood doesn't just start and end with the birth of the baby, but instead starts before conception and goes on for a lifetime. Therefore we are here to offer assistance throughout the journey, and our goal is to give mothers and babies the best possible start in life.
