📣 We’re Hiring! Join Our After-School Program Team in Wauwatosa! 🌟

Do you have a passion for supporting youth and creating a safe, inclusive space for kids of all abilities to thrive? Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin is hiring Part-Time After-School Program Aides to work at Wauwatosa West High School!

This is a brand-new program with flexible, weekday hours (Mon–Fri between 2–6 PM), following the Wauwatosa School District calendar.

✨ As an Aide, you’ll:
✅ Support students with daily routines and personal care
✅ Assist with homework and academic tasks
✅ Lead recreational and enrichment activities
✅ Promote independence, inclusion, and social skills
✅ Make a real difference every single day

💼 Requirements:
✔ Experience working with youth (experience with individuals with disabilities is a plus!)
✔ Must be 18 or older
✔ CPR/First Aid preferred
✔ Reliable transportation required

🍋☀️ Last Friday was absolute lemonade stand perfection! ☀️🍋

We couldn't have asked for a better day — sunshine, smiles, and so many cups of joy shared with our incredible community! 💛

Not only did we raise funds to support our programs, but we also made meaningful new connections:
✨ Wauwatosa Neighborhood Association
✨ Professors and leaders from Mount Mary University
✨ Curious neighbors drawn in by the excitement

We also loved seeing some of our favorite familiar faces:
💚 Our amazing neighbors at Life Navigators — thank you for always showing up!
👶 The daycare next door not only bought pitchers but brought over TWO adorable classes to join the fun
🐾 Officer King, Officer Ade, and the always-popular K9 Officer Crush — thank you for the smiles and support!

Events like these remind us how powerful community can be. 💬💛

As we remind our participants of the importance of Summer Safety, we wanted to share these helpful tips with everyone as well! When temperatures rise, it's more important than ever to protect yourself and your loved ones from heat-related illness. 🌡️

✅ Drink plenty of water
✅ Wear sunscreen and a hat
✅ Take breaks in the shade or indoors
✅ Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke
