Welcome to the world, baby Henry đź’™

This sweet boy made his entrance faster than any birth I’ve experienced in my doula career—and it was nothing short of incredible. Mom was calm, focused, and completely in control every step of the way, trusting her body and her instincts. Dad was right by her side, cheering her on with so much love and strength.

Birth like this is a powerful reminder of what happens when preparation, support, and confidence come together. What an honor it was to witness and support the arrival of baby Henry.

As I reflect on this year, my heart is so full of gratitude. In 2025, I had the honor of supporting 11 families in person and countless families both virtually and in person through gentle sleep coaching and lactation support.

This year welcomed 12 babies into the world — including one beautiful set of twins — 6 boys and 6 girls, and I was honored to support 5 births. Beyond one-on-one support, I also had the privilege of running a monthly Twin Mom Support Group, creating space for connection, education, and community for parents navigating life with multiples.

Each family, each birth, each feeding journey, and each sleepless night reinforced why I do this work. I’m also incredibly proud to share that I am continuing my education and working toward my IBCLC certification, deepening my commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care.

Thank you to every family who trusted me during such tender seasons of life — it is a gift I never take lightly. Here’s to continued learning, growth, and supporting families with heart in 2026 🤍

Today I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Spinning Babies® Workshop, and my mind is so full in the best way. 🌀✨

Huge thank you to the Doula Partnership for making it possible for me to be there — your support and commitment to improving birth experiences means so much. 💛

I learned so much about how balance, gravity, and movement work together to support pregnancy, labor, and childbirth. These tools will help me better guide birthing people toward more comfort, confidence, and ease as their bodies do the amazing work of bringing their babies into the world.

Feeling inspired, grateful, and excited to continue growing in this work. 🤍🫶

✨ Welcome to the world, sweet Melanie ✨
This fast-and-furious little lady made her grand entrance at 5 lbs. 15 oz, proving that tiny can still be mighty! 💕 Mom powered through with strength, grace, and determination—honoring her plan and achieving the unmedicated birth she envisioned.

So proud of this beautiful mama and her incredible journey. Welcome earthside, baby girl 🌸💗

What an honor to celebrate 20 years of the Long Island Doula Association! đź’ś
I’m so proud to serve on the LIDA Council and to be surrounded by such an inspiring sisterhood of doulas who truly embody care, compassion, and community.

We celebrated our incredible founders who paved the way for generations of doulas — and thanks to this event, we’ll continue their legacy by offering low-cost and free doula support to birthing people in need across Long Island.

✨Messages like this remind me exactly why I do what I do.✨
This sweet text came from a fellow Twin Mom in our monthly support group that I run through — a space created to help parents of multiples feel seen, supported, and never alone in the whirlwind of early parenthood and beyond. 🫶
As a Postpartum Doula, moments like these fill my heart and reaffirm how meaningful it is to walk alongside families as they navigate this beautiful (and busy!) season of life. đź’—

A lot of parents wonder how big a freezer stash “should” be. The truth is—you don’t need a giant stockpile of milk in most cases. As a certified lactation counselor, I always try to encourage my families to use the following rules when creating a molk stash and maintaining their milk supply when they are pumping.

A three day supply is just enough to have in your freezer at all times.

Why don’t you need a huge stash you ask?

Milk is best when it’s fresh. Nutrients and immune factors are most potent when milk is used soon after pumping.

Oversupply can be stressful. It’s a double edged sword. Yes it’s great to have lots of milk BUT pumping too much can lead to engorgement, clogged ducts, or mastitis.

Freezer space is limited—and milk does expire (usually 6 months in a deep freezer).

Always reach out to a lactation professional if you have questions or are worried about your supply.

After a long induction, sweet baby Ali was welcomed into this world. His brave mom and supportive dad were so overjoyed with his birth. They planned for a VBAC but those plans were changed, unfortunately.

As a doula, I know how much heart and hope families pour into planning for a VBAC. Inductions can be tricky, and sometimes the journey takes an unexpected turn toward a repeat cesarean. Even when things don’t go as planned, what shines through is the incredible strength of the birthing person and the love surrounding them. At the end of the day, a safe arrival and a healthy mom and baby are what matter most—and that is always a beautiful birth story. 💙

For those considering a VBAC in the future, know this: every birth is unique, and with the right support, you can walk into your experience feeling informed, cared for, and empowered—no matter how your story unfolds.
