Sometimes the smallest details say the most about a person.

For one service, a love of tomato gardening was honored in a simple but meaningful way, with floral arrangements accented with cherry tomatoes. A small touch that reflected something they truly enjoyed in life.

A special thank you to Bayview Florist for helping bring this thoughtful tribute to life.

When a woman is remembered, it’s rarely about what she owned.

It’s her laugh. Her recipes. Her stubborn kindness. The way she showed love.

On International Women’s Day, we’re honoring the things women leave behind that never appear in a will, but last for generations.

What’s one thing a woman in your life passed down to you?

Taking photos at a funeral?
Just don’t.

The only exception is if the immediate family specifically asks for a photo.

Otherwise, your phone should stay put away. A funeral is not a photo opportunity. It’s a time for presence and respect.

When is it okay to film at a funeral?

In general, your phone should be put away.

The only exceptions might be something ceremonial, such as military honors at the cemetery or Taps being played outdoors. Those moments are sometimes recorded out of respect and remembrance.

But during the service itself, your phone should not be out.

He served his nation. We serve his loved ones.

We honor veterans with meaningful life celebrations that reflect both their service and the personal qualities that made them unique. From the presence of the honor guard to the sound of taps, every detail is approached with gratitude and care.

After a parent passes, it’s common for siblings to argue or see the world differently. Grief can amplify emotions and old patterns.

Remember: disagreements don’t mean you love each other any less; they mean you’re processing together.

Our team can help families navigate difficult conversations with care and support.

Leave a ❤️‍🩹 if you and your resolved issues after a parent passed.

When you come to us, we have one goal – to plan a meaningful tribute that meets your needs, wishes, and budget. Whether your choice is traditional burial or cremation, we have the options you need to design the service that works for your family.

Since we’re owned and operated by the Gilmor family, we have a unique understanding of what it means to put families first. We also offer the quality of service you can only expect from a local, family-owned business.

Whether you are at your moment of need, or you would like to preplan with us, we invite you to reach out to us today.
