My blend is a mixture of turmeric root, cinnamon, ginger root, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, + black pepper (all organic, of course!)
All you need to do is warm coconut milk (canned or carton), h**p milk, almond milk, oat milk, (etc.) and add some of this blend to it! Simple as that, and oh so medicinal!

Growing up, my family was very holistic and in harmony with our natural world. We brought nature in to our home as much as possible and strived to ebb and flow with the natural cycles of our Earth. When it came time to pick a career, it was natural to choose a profession that mirrored the way I live my life.
Chinese Medicine spoke to me because it uses Mother Earth to diagnose and treat any ailment or condition. We are a microcosm of the Earth so when we see something happening outside, we can relate it to something that happens in our bodies. For example: when we look outside in the winter it is cold. Cold constricts, solidifies, and congeals. If we think about dryness in our bodies and then think about a desert full of cracks, this can help us to relate. On a hot summer day, the heat quickens, moves, and expands. If you think about a swamp, dampness in our bodes causes sinking, heaviness, and stagnation.
I further fell in love with Chinese Medicine when I learned that it treats the root cause of the condition. So often, we are masking symptoms and driving them deeper into our bodies. This hinders our health and moves us further from homeostasis. Treating the root cause of the disease will ensure that the condition is corrected and hopefully will not return. This is Chinese Medicine’s specialty; working toward moving our bodies to homeostasis.
To fulfill my passions, I attended UW-Washington County to receive my Associates Degree before beginning my journey at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine, Wisconsin. I was taught a wide array of topics, both relating to Eastern and Western Medicine. I graduated with my Master’s Level Certificate in Acupuncture and have over 2,000 hours of training.
I believe that our bodies are innately self-healing. Your body knows what it needs to do to achieve health, occasionally though, there are barriers. As your Chinese Medicine practitioner, I will guide your body back into balance and remove obstacles, but it is your body that will be responsible for healing itself. I hope that it is empowering, as an individual, to know that your health is in your own hands, but you don’t have to do it alone.
I hope that when you come to see me, you experience a sense of tranquility, well being, rejuvenation, and joy. I really take pride in the space that I have and hope it is a healing and safe environment for you too.
