The majority of the acupuncture is applied in the areas between the elbows and hands as well as the knees and feet so wearing clothing that allows access to these areas is advised.Travis Beto has been practicing acupuncture since 2009. Since 2010 he has been providing acupuncture in the community style. He is an active member of the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture or POCA for short. POCA is "a multi-stakeholder cooperative, POCA's goal is to make acupuncture available to as many people as possible and to support those providing acupuncture to create stable and sustainable businesses and jobs." Membership is open to patients/clients, providers, clinics and orgaizations. In 2013 POCA clinics provided over 950,000 treatments.
