Lip Refresh! 💋

👄 Gorgeous & fresh off the syringe! 1 full syringe of RHA 3 to overall refresh, plump, & slightly define.

💉 Bruising & swelling is normal & expected for up to 2 weeks. Using Arnica topically or sublingually may help decrease the amount of bruising.

👄 Follow-up in 2 weeks! At this time any touch ups are completed. It is very important to make time for treatments & also their touch-ups before a big event! I say 6 weeks or more so you have enough time to heal! ❤️

💉 First-Time Dysport!!! 4 weeks post-treatment! Goodbye static forehead lines! (The last picture shows how much the lines on the forehead softened within 4 weeks!). 🙌🏼

💉 Dysport is a brand name for a type of botulinum toxin injection. When injected into specific muscles, Dysport blocks the nerve signals that cause muscle contractions, leading to a temporary relaxation of the targeted muscles. This results in a smoother & more youthful appearance of the skin in the treated area.

🏃‍♀️ Dynamic vs. Static lines: Dynamic lines are visible during facial expressions like laughing, smiling, or squinting. Static lines are lines that are present always, as they have been etched into the skin over time (untreated dynamic lines turn into static lines). Getting neurotoxin treatments “treat” dynamic lines & prevent static lines. If they are already present before treatment, they may soften afterwards or if deeper they may need further treatment to smooth.

✨Treatments & dosage are individually based & need to be completed every 3-4 months. Prevention is best! 🤩

⭐️ Dysport was used to still the targeted muscles to prevent & soften lines on the forehead (Frontalis) & between (Glabella, “11 lines”) & around the eyes (Crow’s feet area).

🗓️ Variability among persons, but initial results can be seen between 3-8 days. 2-3 weeks for full result!

💉 Treating Neck Bands w/ Dysport! ✨

✨Platysmal neck bands are vertical bands or cords that can become more prominent w/ age or muscle activity. They are caused by the contraction of the platysma muscle in the neck & pull down on the neck/jawline area. Also, when these bands become more prominent, they can contribute to a less youthful appearance.

💉Treating the platysmal neck bands relax the muscles under the skin, reducing the appearance of vertical neck bands or cords, creating a more lifted, youthful, & rejuvenated look. Treatment can also enhance jawline definition & contouring. Neuromodulator treatments are non-surgical & minimally invasive, making them a popular choice for individuals seeking aesthetic improvements without surgery.

💉The treatment process typically consists of:

💉The neck area & banding will be assessed & the individual will be determined a suitable candidate.

💉Using a fine needle, the provider will inject the neuromodulator (such as Dysport, Botox, Daxxify, Xeomin, etc.) into specific points along the platysma muscles. The number of injections & dosage will depend on individual anatomy & desired results.
