With all the chaos going around, I am making a conscious effort to search for joy, even in the little things. I have many plants around my home, but this not so little leaf, that popped up a few days ago is bringing me so much happiness. 🌿🥰

When black mothers ask questions they are all too often labeled as difficult or hard to work with. If advocating for yourself makes you difficult, then be as difficult as you can be and don't ever be afraid to switch healthcare providers. This is something that definitely needs to change, because advocating for yourself should be welcomed in every area of healthcare. After all, NO ONE knows your body like you do.
